Well to be honest Andy , i totally expected it to go like this, a lot of twists and turns yet i'm sure . We all just need to chill .Theres not much we can do about it ,so might aswell go along for the ride. Good thing is we know for a fact that we will be sold . Bad thing is we are relying on purslow and broughton to do the right thing

My main worry is that it is gonna be a rushed decision!

We need players so we are gonna have to get the deal done with time left to sign some before the window closes.
Now... last time we were up for sale we had people at the club like Parry and Moores who are still to this day loyal fans(yes they made a terrible choice) but that is history now!

now we have "businessmen" making the choice with between 4-6 potential owners knowing we are in a rush to sell and selling themselves to the club like a pack of wh'ores to get their foot in the door!They will all promise the world,they will all put together offers that sound too good to be true!

The price we go for is totally irrelevant....it does not matter if its £350 million or £450 million.....the worry is that we may get sold to someone just like the yanks,or worse.

The main priority is that we get sold to someone who does what they promise and is prepared to put money into the club,get the stadium built and get money into the squad and stay for the longhaul...whoever takes over its gonna take a long time before they profit.

The way it works now though is that some rich dude can come in,buy the club invest £50m...raise the clubs value by £100m and sell it to someone in a few years time..making them take on the debt as well!!

Its no different than buying a run down house for £100 k spending £30k on it and selling it for £180k sadly,people do it all the time!..... its just on a bigger scale..and LFC is the house!

Great post and agree 100% - i want someone who knows what it means to be part of the club , the city and i want him to be a fan and to love the club and the game and to have the heart of the club in his best interests .

This is at last reaching its end for what has been a bad few years with the Americans at the helm, When the decision is made as to who will takeover the club it will be arguably the biggest decision regarding the club in its history

Get it wrong and we are in serious trouble but get it right and there could be good times ahead
