no, sorry, this is more important. In my view, people who burn the american flag are damaging this club just as much as Hicks and Gillette are. This needs to be known that people feel this way.

We need to use our heads, not hearts. We're angry, but we need to find a good way to get our message across, not drunken burnings of national flags

i know mate, WTF?

I create a VALID thread trying to raise the problems with SOS and he locks it...great going Bob.  :no

Can't upset the angry mob

We all want the yanks out, but burning the American Flag aint gonna make things work for us.

FWIW there was a big discussion about this this morning. I dont condone it and I dont think anybody really does but there's always going to be idiots doing sh!t like this and I dont think they were representatives of SOS

erm, a lot of the SOS gang were there. That is all i am saying on the issue.

No word from Bob...maybe he's gone to look up 'racism' in the dictionary.

Except for the two PMs I've sent you in the last few minutes though right?   ???

exactly...use the fans' group to find new investors. imagine the power a fan backed investor would have in forcing our board out?

I actually think we're attaching a lot more significance to this flag burning issue than anyone else. Kewell you seem to be implying that anyone who was at the protests accepted than burning the American flag was ok. I dont think it was particularly clever but thats what happens when two people from America p!ss a whole football club around. Theres always going to be some idiots in the pack, best to ignore them than give them attention right?

I'm not posting anymore on the flag sh!te, it all got deleted the last time so discussing it in this thread is pointless  :D

mate you can strech the term racism as far as you like. I could say that people I know are racist because they stereotyped my for being Geordie. Racism is everywhere in the world or nowhere depending on interpretation, its a whole other debate tho

its not big sh!t IMO I dont see the big deal. The flags weren't aimed at the American nation, anyone remotely associated with LFC will know that the flags were used as a metaphor for T&T's reign at the club

You’re making excuses mate. If our owners were Pakistanis, would we have banners saying PAKIS OUT?

No...why? because it is racist. You don’t have to agree with it, but this is how the world works...the Premier league is GLOBAL and you have to be very careful how you word things because the world (and its investors) are watching.

youm ay not think that, but how will the international press treat it?

We need to think people, we need to be smarter than this if we want new investment.

Since when was the word YANK offensive? are you having a laugh or what?

PAKIS OUT would be racist because paki isnt just a term used to refer to someone from Pakistan is it?

Bunch of pussies running round with their heads so far up their árses they dont know if its night or day.

The word 'yank', the act of burning a flag means sweet fanny adams compared to a backrupt, ruined LFC.

Time to stand up and be counted.
