well looks like the yanks mission is finally complete. their last obstacle is out of the way and they can now do what they want whenever the hell they want. there is nobody there to stop them.
sad sad day.

I suspect the bids will come in for both players the moment Rafa leaves and I will be very surprised if the club turn them down. I only hope the club move for a manager with a bit of back-bone who would agree to come ONLY on the proviso that we keep our two best players (or at least Torres). I'd be inclined to go for Martin O'neil if i'm honest.

Rafa FC is it ?
feckin clown.
Not at all, they are trying to force him out of the club as opposed to sacking him outright because they cannot afford/won't pay the £16m he is rightfully owned. He should settle for nothing less than what he is owed.
I am more than happy to suffer a little pain if it means that the Americans suffer more than I do. I will support this club through the thick and thin, I am here like you and everyone else for the good times and the bad times and if it means us dropping down the table or going into administration or plying our trade in the Championship then so be it. As long as the Americans are forced to sell us at a reasonable price then that's all I care about. Getting these owners out of our club should be the top priority, nevermind a change in manager or playing staff.

like this forum the club has been a total mess sometimes.
No Lakes the problem is last week the man was dancing on the fuc.k.ng stage with like minded reds , who believe in him. rightly or wrongly some of us think he is doing whats right for this club, the man has tried from the beginning in his own way to tell us whats been going on. The man has stood loyal to us ,he could of and should of fecked off long ago with all the sh.ite hes had to put up with, And yet the minute he goes on his holidays the club stab him in the back. by leaking a story. about a board meeting , when was the fecking last time we had a board meeting , There are snides at this club and they need to be outed big time, I feel saddend and ashamed to see my club conduct themselves in this way , I feel ashamed to see this man being treated likethis now,
Thats the fu.cking problem , Liverpool football club need to hang there heads in shame the way they have conducted this whole matter,
no nan the problem is we have a manger that has a net spend of 109mil and won nothing for 4 years.

Tsk Tsk, Lakes, you SSN addict. I just seen that on there too, and it's the biggest tonne of misleading trunks I've seen for some time. The b"stards never go into detail, never go into the facts or do their research. They just go from A to Z to make something look as damning as possible.

Was bracing meself for some flack for mentioning O'neil! He's deffo a manager with a bit of backbone though. And anyone coming in is gonna need just that.Whatever happens they have to get someone in IMMEDIATELY, and then they've (the new manager) got to get on the first plane to South Africa and do some serious talking. If they don't i'd say it's nailed on we lose all three of Gerrard, Torres and Masch.

Ben Patrick wrote:Your initial statement made out that whether all of our key players are unhappy is irrelevant.
Rafa has a contract and deserves his massive payout.
To me that's wrong in both areas.
Firstly the key players are more important to me than a manager that has failed.
And to me someone that has failed does not deserve anything like the ridiculous figure he is reported to be entitled to.
Now i am not saying he should just give up whatever he has been told he will get if he is sacked.
Just that i care more about the club than Rafa getting a shedloads of cash like Houllier did to ride off into the sunset with.
