If it really is true that he's gone , then I'm totally gutted. He's a better man than the two tw@ts together could ever hope to be.
The club need to make a statement NOW , we deserve to know what's going on.
Never trusted Broughton from the off , been proved right.
Good luck Rafa in whatever you do , I really hope you rub their noses right in it !!
Thankyou for some wonderful memories that will NEVER be surpassed. Certainly not  by MON or KK!!!

the club hit the roof last night, it was the last straw for them.

wELL SOME OF US FANS ARE GONNA HIT THE :censored: ROOF LAKES ,SHOWER OF FUC.KING SCUMBAGS ,

The way he has been treated by this club and some fans and the media is a fecking disgrace , feel sick physicaly sick .

aND I FECKING HOPE HE TAKES SOME OF OUR ASSETS WITH HIM , AND BRING THEM :censored: TO THERE :censored: KNEES ,

due to this there is a good chance that our best players will stay.

I will say more than that, due to this Torres will stay, that what he meant that depends on liverpools attitude.

No manager in their right mind would take a seat in our managerial hotseat with two owners given the circumstances. We'll be lucky to attract John Barnes nevermind Guus Hiddink.

Can't believe it.I hope everyone will be just as happy with his replacement as the new manager will do no better with the f*ckers that are running the club.

Well done Rafa you put up with so much at the club and you give me the best night of my life

Don't believe it either. I wouldn't believe anything until there is a press conference with Rafa declairing he's either resigned or has been sacked, or the snakes on our board do it. Either way, take it as a load of bollox until then.

Let's get a bit of perspective here.

Yes everyone would have loved to see Benitez succeed, but bottom line is the players stopped playing for him last season.  Once that happens there's only one result in the end.  As to why they stopped playing for him, it'll no doubt come out some day.

Blame the yanks, Broughton, whoever.  They don't pick the team, buy the players or coach them or motivate them (or fail to do the latter for that matter).

A new manager won't solve the greater problems at the club, but some sort of change in management was badly needed.

no way i will not have that, Rafa gave us one of the best night in football history...well the players did.

Rafa is a nice guy, some seemed to forget that, yes i did not feel he was the right man for the job. but as a person he always had time for us fans.

he was the wrong man to win us the prem and that what he was meant to come here to do...end of.

The Times are running the story too, at least the part about a severance payout being offered.  It's not bollox.

talking to me mate right now, before he left work at 9pm tonight reports were coming in from a liverpool based reporter that Rafa has had a meeting with the club about him leaving, the bbc understand that Rafa will leave the club with a 3 mil pay off...plus other .

sky will be the best place to get the news right now as they have more staff on, bbc have most of their sports staff on holiday right now.

This is a turning point for better or for worse depending on who replaces him, the biggest change is still to come when the owners sell up and let the heart of liverpool beat again.

All I can say is I have faith in Rafa, I wish him all the best in the future and thank him for Istanbul and the FA cup win, I thank him for Torres, Reina, Alonso, Lil Luis, Glen Johnson and the return of GOD!! I thank him for leading us so close to the Premier League and the 1 - 4 win over united (;-p) I thank him for alot of things but most of all putting up with the owners and all their BS.

Good Luck Rafa

This post is if he has been sacked
