as i say it better be a joke!!

Well what top manager will want to manage our club given the circumstances the club finds itself in? Top managers will dismiss any reports linking them with a move to us and Martin O'Neill and Roy Hodgson have ruled out moves to us. So that leaves managers like Kevin Keegan and Jurgen Klinsmann being linked with the club which is why it is of paramount importance than Rafa remains here.

Well, most anti-Rafa still believe every manager on the planet will drop anything they are doing this moment to be able to join us.

The only good thing if Rafa leaves is that those "fans" will get a reality check!

Inter are set to offer Rafa a deal that he will find very hard to turn down. In the deal he will be able to spend up to 120mil on players (not sure if that £).

Fake  :D

well if they took it right out of the Red top then you might be right.

What you all must keep in mind is that any sports reporter worth their salt is on a 7 day holiday right now.

I am suggesting you actually take the time to attend a match instead of gleaming what little knowledge you can gather from people in pubs   It might even be an idea seen as your this hardened traveller to choose pubs nearer in geographical proximity to Anfield (just a thought like )
I would like to also add I have seen most of Europe in my time supporting Liverpool ,plus given my profession I have been fortunate to travel worldwide ,and it must be said I have visited places the length and breadth of Britain ... but and this is what appears to be the crux of our little debate "I have formed my opinion on the hateful bile that spews forth from the uneducated mouths of opposing fans " ...... not from forming an uneducated

Mind you if you were as condescending in real life as you are on your keyboard, mixing that with "uneducated" fools would amount to the possible abuse you've endured.

Take it personally mate and don't tar it with hatred towards our club.

what will say is that sometimes you can be too close to the club to see the truth, that happend to me during the Graeme Souness years, I would not have a bad word said about him.

Some are doing the same with Rafa.

for what its worth, i don't buy this 'every one hates liverpool fc' line either. we are all used to the stick we get from everton and from the mancs but we're just as good as giving it back to them anyway. of course, we also have the number of uneducated morons that still blame us and see us as mindless hooligans because of the tragic events at hillsborough and heysel.

i don't think there is a general media based dislike of us though. right now we are soft targets because of our disastrous situation so there's plenty a good story there, especially as we were tipped to be doing better and a fixture in the 'big four'. but to be honest, i see just as many articles taking the píss out of the mancs, out of arsenal, out of portsmouth and just about every other team that opens up for it.

Not this one again  :no

I am certain that IF we made an official approach for either of the managers that you just mentioned they would walk bare foot to Anfield.

A well balanced view and I'd agree with that.  :nod

I disagree. The english clubs have been awful this year and all fell at early hurdles. Maureen is under more pressure there than he was at chelsea. He may well win the league but Real Madrid want it all, like chelsea. He simply HAS to win the lot. Thats the pressure that comes with the madrid job. Like chelsea, madrid throw money around to get the players and not the team. Chelsea only just won the league this year, consider the money, they should be walking it.

I've made it known often on here that I don't like mourinho and he's been made to look like a god of amanager by some on here. Butyou gotta give it to him for winning the CL with inter. They haven't won that cup for god knows how long. One quality I do admire about him is that even though he had very good players to work with, he makes them into a team rather than play as individuals. Real will be a good test for him because real had suffered from this symptom the most. They have the world's best players but couldn't gel as a team. They managed to be a team under capello and won the league but he was unpopular with the most ignorant fans in the world ( the real fans) and was basically forced out. Mourinho might go down that road IMO...
