Benny burst in... and grinning a grin

He said Micky boy this is a showdown...

But BigMick was hot - he drew first and shot

And Benny collapsed in the corner!

 He's been on ignore for about two months. I haven't responded in any way shape or form to any of his posts, I don't even know what they were. How am I "as bad him" :wwww

So rather than being silly and trying to give it the old voice of reason routine, why don't you worry about something which you can have an immediate impact upon yourself without worrying about others. My suggestion is for starters, stop talking b0ll0cks.

Whats has he got to do with commenting about us anyway , we  havnt played them ,we havnt played against any of his teams , but its ok for him to sprout his mouth off . but when Rafa says anything about him hes the worst in the world by some of our fans, There wasnt much difference between Barca an Madrid last season , the title could of gone either way right down to the last game of the season as i remember , Pellagrino done a good job last season , So if and when Jose goes to Madrid its not gonna take a massive overhaul or massive change to actualy win la Liga, The superstars are already in place, Bit like Ancelottie at Chelsea ,

He'll be there a maximum of two years and then it'll be all sorts of excuses as to why he is leaving. Jose likes to be the superstar and in a team full of superstars there will be too much ego. Besides he specializes in defensive football, the fans and players will hate it. I'm surprised he is going to Madrid to be honest, although the team is ready (something he needs to succeed) the press will eat him up.

The way he gloated to Barca fans while his team CELEBRATED shows how self centered he is. He seems to think the players had nothing to do with it.

bigmick wrote:It really is extremely unusual for a manager to get involved in another clubs decision about their new boss in the way Rafa did with Mourinho and Real Madrid, very strange indeed. I would have thought that seeing as Rafa has obviously pencilled in the Madrid job for himself at some point in his career, Mourinho going there now while they aren't that great and Barca are so dominant would have been his ideal scenario. The last thing he would need is following a manager who has been mega successful after all, the questions might be asked if he plummetted Madrid down to seventh in La Liga after six seasons of rebuilding.

Could it be that he is a bit wary that perhaps Mourinho will go in there and do a good job? Surely it's not possible for any manager to usurp Barcelona in their current pomp is it?

Rafa gets stranger and stranger as he gets older. Why is he comm enting on such matters, and how would the Liverpool fans react if Mourinho had said "Benitez isn't the right manager for Liverpool"? It beggars belief really.

Rafa Benitez has ONE bad season and comes 7th in the league admidst possibly the worst run board in the top tier and yet you either want to rewrite history, or want to omit his past achievements altogether? Short memory? Alzheimers setting in? F*ck knows.

Alternatively you could say hes had one GOOD season...?

Hardly. Rafa Benitez hasn't just managed LFC in his career, you know. One good season? You'd have to be a right clueless eejit to even state that.

My point is it depends what you think of as bad or good.
Pro-Rafa will say hes had one BAD season because we didnt qualify for the CL
Others might conclude that the only thing of worth hes won is the CL in 2005. This was due to a miracle.
The rest of the time we have not been very GOOD because we havent won anything else besides a scrappy fa cup against sh'itty west ham.
Coming 2nd 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or seventh in the league or getting knocked out of domestic and European cups or being runners up in the CL can be described as BAD by some...

He keeps going on about stalkers and wrist slashers but I have not botherd responding. Temptation does get the better of me sometimes I must admit. You should have taken his bet as I never mentioned his name once. He was offering good odds (100-1), I would have taken the bet myself but he is "ignoring me"  :D

 Do you understand anything, about anything? I'll bet a pound to a penny on, means I'll bet 100 to one on. 100 to one on, means if I bet £100, I'll win £1 (plus of course my £100 back), making an overall profit of £1, or 1% if you prefer. You only take such odds, if you are fairly certain what you are betting on is going to happen.

Now, (deep breath) I was/am fairly certain that at least one if not both of those posts would have contained reference to me in some form or another, simply because almost all of his posts do. I still don't know whether or not I am correct, but my suspicion is that if I was wrong some numpty would have told me by now, so 'm probably right.

In ignoring him though forever, I can hardly be accused of being "as bad as him", although the way the forum works these days the only surprise is that I haven't been banned for ignoring him. It's like I said earlier, it all depends who you are abusing, who you are stalking, who you are winding up, which side of the fence you are slinging sh!t from.

Like I said, if you were an anti you'd have been banned years ago Ben, that's the way things are. If he were an anti and he was stalking a pro, his feet wouldn't have touched the ground. He isn't though, and he isn't, and they shouldn't, in that order.

Anyway ben, as much as I'd like to have a two hour convo about the whole thing where we discuss the why's, the wherefores and the "do you mind if I don'ts", I have other pressing and frankly more interesting engagements to be getting on with. I shall leave you with your friend to discuss all matters, and I'm sure the long Summer night will positively fly by for the pair of you.

I bid you farewell

bigmick wrote:As for his "past achievements", well he did lead us to an astounding champions League success with a bunch of players who weren't that good, and we won the FA Cup while he was in charge too. We also challenged for the league title in one of the six seasons he's been at the helm. I didn't think those achievements were up for debate really, so I didn't put them in. Nor do I think it's up for debate that after six years of his rebuilding we have "progressed" down to seventh, but apparantly it is. You might be right, perhaps senility is setting in because to me it's fairly clear cut. Perhaps if it really is/was "one bad season" you are confident we'll catapult ourselves back into a challenging position under Benitez next season. If you are, then fair play. I'm only sorry I don't share your optimism. A new manager, and maybe. Benitez? Nah.

Mike, I think your quite right, the only mistake you've made was that this was your message even when we were top of the league last year. See the thing is- its a bit like a broken clock, you know the one thats absolutely spot on twice a day, you've sullied your opinion to long time observers, same can be said of saint, so when we do indeed need a chang at the helm posters just think "heres mick again".
but like I said, I think your quite right. Hope this helps.

Don't worry as can see your never wrong , your always hard done by and it's always you the victim , maybe one day you will wake up and have a good look in the mirror and realise your part in the whole problem on here over this season , I'm pretty sure when you do take some responsibilty it will be a hallujhah moment in your life , and maybe then younwill realise it's got f.uck all to do with if you support manager or no .
