Nan it's all very well saying you haven't used the "C", plenty have. To be honest, I don't give a feck about the abuse because nine times out of ten it's off total fecking knob-jockeys anyway, it's more the fact that people who support the manager seem to think it gives them the right to the moral high ground all the time which fecks me off. All this "and I'll be interested to see how people vote" sh!t, and as far as this particular forum is concerned people being banned for doing absolutely feck all other than voicing an opinion which is contrary to that which the moderators hold/held at the time (and I'm talking from personal experience here).
By all means back Benitez, not a problemo with any of that. Wish/hope/believe all you like (and naturally as I think we are stuck with him for a while yet I hope you're right), but it DOES NOT MEAN if somebody has concluded that we could do better with a different manager that they either support the owners or are by definition fecking stupid/not a real fan etc etc.
I rarely bother fecking debating the subject any more because it does my head in to be honest. When you have one side of the debate denying everythinjg, regardless of what is so fecking obvious it might as well be the nose on your clock it becomes pointless.
I've never called the manager any names, and very few of the people who think we need a change have. I just think he's royally fecked it up under admittedly difficult circumstances, sure he's a nice guy and all that but that's irrelevent. Anyhow, I'll join the union and all that, for all the difference it'll make on here.
One last thing which does my fecking head in. All this "well inside the ground and in the pubs around the ground people still support Rafa". Well they fecking would do woulddn't they? If I was going to the matches I'd support Rafa inside the ground as well, because I support the team. I'd almost join in the Raffer-raff-eye-elles (not quite though anymore) that the die hards desperately try and drum up every five minutes. That's why they stopped mass voting at union meetings. If five thousand hairy ersed steelworkers say aye and stick their hands in the air, so do you. So in short, all this "all the fans in the ground" sh!t is exactly that, total sh!t. Even if I was the only person in the World that thought we should get rid of Benitez so what anyway? I'm the only person in the World who buys into my theory about the owners needing Rafa as much as he needs them so he stays, but it doesn't bother me a jot, why should it.
