if we keep the same players and same manager for next season and we have a better season, as some of you predict, will that be enough to keep rafa for even longer? by having a better season we must at least be talking about turning two or three defeats into wins, therefore being 6 to 9 points better off, therefore getting a CL spot. if we can guarantee this for next season and use that as the base for bringing in a good player or two once a season after that, slowly but surely improving as we have been generally doing until this season, do we keep rafa? or is the gamble of throwing out the baby with the bathwater really worthwhile as we get in a new manager with a new 5 year plan?
myself, i lean towards a change of manager, but deep down i am really undecided.
