Shame we did not get a side in the lower divisions. Tough start to the competition and considering we've got more important fish to fry I'm sure Klopp will rotate in this one.

I would like to rest VVD but who would play there???
Were tight for cover on the backline.

Studge, Origi, Lallana, Shaq, Keita, Fab should start this.
Fab and Keita will need the experience.
Also Mignolet in goal but unsure who will play at the back.

I like the look of that. Not sure it’s enough to win against an underrated wolves side, but it puts us in with a chance. We need to find a way to get keita and fab into the starting lineup, so this could help. Keita really needs to get going.

Attacking wise that line up looks good defensively its feked.

Hoping Gomez and Matip recover quick.

Bit of a problem at CB with Gomez, Matip and Nat Phillips being injured. Masterson was training quite regularly with the first team in the final few months of last season and even made the bench on a few occasions when we had injuries so he might be an option. I’m sure Camacho will play as he’s been training with the first team for a year now and has even made the bench this year. It’s just a matter of whether he plays RB or in the front 3. I’d go with the starting 11 below with only Lovren starting against Brighton 5 days later.

                                Mignolet

Milner          Masterson          Lovren          Moreno

                              Henderson
                 Lallana                    Keita

    Sturridge                                     Camacho
                                  Origi

Subs: Firmino, Shaqiri, Curtis Jones, Chirivella, Trent, van Dijk, Kelleher

Maybe this lad Ki-Jana Hoever will be given a chance?

I would have said that we should concentrate on the league and I would not be too disappointed if we went out but after the City defeat and really do not want to see a second defeat in a row.

These are the games that Clyne could be used. But oh well... stop harping on what's been done... :kungfu:

Nah. We have Milner, Fab, and Camacho, and even Hoever. And plenty of midfielders if one of Milner or Fab play at RB.

Hopefully, the lad looks like a young Van Dijk. I'd like to see Camacho get a run out as well, I thought he looked better than Trent in pre-season. If Wolves play a good side tonight it wouldn't surprise me if we went out, Molineaux is a tough place to go for our first team never mind our second string.
It is what it is though, as much as I love the FA Cup we mustn't be distracted from the league.
