We need to keep our heads here. Sunderland will blow out of steam and their defence is poor. Remain calm and hit them on the break.

Lovren, Klavan and Can struggling against the pace of Sunderland players...

It's been a lethargic first half. Lallana and Firmino both poor in the first 45 mins...need to step it up if we're going to get anything out of this.

We're missing Henderson. Don't quite like Can in that position, he's been poor IMO.

Massive second half coming up, failure to beat these could have huge ramifications for our season especially with United away next up

We may have regained some composure but Sunderland are still looking dangerous with long balls down the middle, penalty aside Defoe could have nicked another two goals.

We're not looking particularly sharp, can't complain about fatigue though as Sunderland also played Saturday.

Yes... but in general, let's face it, we need better CM players... our weakest position IMHO...

Yes... but in general, let's face it, we need better CM players... our weakest position IMHO...

Agreed. You only have to look at the bench to see how thin on the ground we are.

Thought Can wasn't that good against City and he's not looking particularly assured today. Klavan also looking a bit ropey.

Sturridge has been looking sharp... there should be more attempts by other players like Mane or Firmino to go for the rebounds off Sturridge attempts... I think I counted 4 or so occasions that sunderland keeper spilled the ball...

Wish I felt as confident as you 7K, I've got an uneasy feeling about this one, think Klopp has got some talking to do during the half time break.

Moreno on for Milner. . Now I'm worried.

I wonder why grujic is not getting any games... not even on the bench... is he injured?
