Why do we suck at defending?

What a Bizarre game
Who cares right?

Loved how the lads didn't cave in and kept pushing forward ,could have easily lost the game.

Johnson doesn't want to get his set dirty that's why he doesn't tackle allows all those free balls from his corner. what a tidy lad.

Midfield hasn't helped today and two poor fullbacks

Cause we are bird watching not defending. our Fullbacks defend with their eyes trying to blink the attacker away. Gerrard pretty rusty didn't help as well.

Crazy game that's for sure. Were it a previous season we would have lost that one though.

We were a bit lucky but we deserved some luck. Like I said I'd take any kind of victory at this place.

Tactically, has to be the worst game I've seen in a while
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Thank f**k for Sturridge and Suarez....that was (at times) some of the worst football I've seen from our lads. The full backs need shooting and Gerrard needs a kick up the *****, because he couldn't pass for his life today.

However, we won and i'll take an ugly victory over the likes of Stoke everyday of the week. But we need the likes of Enrique and Flanagan back, because Johnson and Cissokho especially are huge liabilities

Liverpool have now scored 50 Premier League goals this season -- two more than they managed in the whole of the 2011-12 campaign.

Mad game. We played like Sh*t, with a few exceptions, but luckily the stoke defense were even worse.

Apart from Suarez, Sturridge and Sterling, most of the players had a pretty shaky performance, very much like against Hull, but a partnership that I never want to see again is Toure and Skrtel in defense. There were worse players today than those two, but that's a combination that will never work.

It's not their fault, I blame Johnson and Cissokho...they were the shining ***** in the sewer pipe today, leaving Toure and SKrtel to pick up the pieces.

Agreed ,already voiced my opinion about Skrtel stupidity protecting the set pieces and Toure lack of speed and height  :grinning:  really showed today. But considering the abuse they took from Glen ,Ali and the MF they deserve a medal.
