STOKE CITY VS LIVERPOOL - 13 november 2010, ko: 17:30

Liverpool Football Club - Games

I think you lot must be watching the wrong match. I think we've got a bit of a grip on it over the last 20 mins or so, but we must remain watchful when they keep fecking slinging it into the box. It's never pretty from either team when you go there, but I fancy us to nick this second half.

As for the boot boys, grow up for fecks sake. If you haven't got any sensible comments to make, don't post. It's like discussing football with a bunch of kids.

Same old same old.
We replace Rafa with his replica Roy.
What rubbish we are playing.
The players do are playing "plague" ball getting rid of it soonest possible.
No vision, everyone is static. Static players are so easy to defend against.
How are you going to attack with player's back facing the goal?
Miereles seems to have the inclination to pass the ball behind team mates when he should be passing in front.
When the ball are send up front it is beyond anyone's reach.
This is a disgrace and a freaking joke!
Why are the players so fearful of a physical challenge. Is it the coaching staff that is preaching this nonsense?
The whole team that replaces the one from Rafa's should have a totally different mentality.
If it is the same, sack them all! Hire those from Wolves, Stoke or Arsenal.
Get rid of all those pussies! If Roy afraid to make real choices then he should just quit.

for me this game looks the same as last years game that ended 1-1, for most part they were all over us and most felt we was lucky to get a ponit in the end.

BM...If your TV beeps after 30 seconds you are probably watching the MicroWave mate...It's an Ugly Ugly game but it is Stoke's Game. We came either unprepered or maybe we can't do better. So far we aren't even contending not talkin of even winning.

Got a grip ?

Don't know what game you're watching Mick. We've maybe had a bit more of the ball in the latter stages of the first half only because Stoke have stepped off the pace, we meanwhile continue to just hoof it and hope.

Yes Mick, we have been playing better for the last 15 mins but we still look lacklustre. 2nd half should be better

Sorry but if we wanted to we could play circles around these thugs, but instead we let them control how the game is played.

If you read the rest of the post, you'd notice that I mentioned Carra and his hoof ball tactics. I will add Konchesky to that also.

It's tough to run rings around them, when he gives possession away without any pressure so cheaply. When it's been on the ground, we have looked ok going forward and have had a few decent (not brilliant) moves.

But as long as the ball goes to either full-back, don't expect us to hold possession of the ball.

I don't think that the players are not responding to the new owners. It is just the same old :censored: playing style are are still being deployed. The players are obviously told to play by avoiding minimum physical challenge. Everyone is so afraid when they have the ball. Just can't wait to get rid of it. Even though the pass may not be a good one, they just get rid of it.  We must learn to hold the ball, keep the ball even under pressure. Also need to learn the art of getting a free kicks.
