Liverpool Football Club - Games

SKY are saying that Shaquiri could return for them today after a two month injury lay off as could Jonathan Walters who has also been out.
Whoever they put out we just need to win, Jurgen needs to make sure our players know what is at stake, top four is on the line here, our whole season rests on these 7 finals that we've got coming up, 8 months of hard work could easily be pi$$ed down the drain today if we put in a half @rsed performance.

3 in a week is going to be a stretch for Lucus. Can see him struggling but we don't have much choice.

Personally would play Trent in Mane's  absence. He's been playing in that position for the U23 recently and mainly played in midfield in the youth teams. Will give us pace and energy and will stretch the pitch. He's very good on the ball too.

Suddenly this trip is looking very dodgy. Mane, Lallana already out and now it seems Coutinho is missing as well. This is where we need to show some metal as a team and grind out a 1-0 win or something. Not sure we have really shown the ability to do that since Rafa's days but it has to start now

We need players to step up and show leadership... players like Firmino, Sturridge in attack and leading the line and players like Matip and Lovren at defence... and Milner as the overall leader....

Coutinho should be playing. With all due respect to his illness, the fact he didn't train shouldn't be a factor and if he is feeling better throw him in the mix.

There was a time when we could confidently say about games against the likes of Stoke "we'll win this one". Those days are long gone   :(

I'll be sitting here with fingers crossed but won't be surprised if once again despite being the "better" team playing the "better" football, we get mugged again .

The line up is a MASSIVE gamble on Klopps part. This is a must win game and he's playing 3 center halves, a couple of youngsters who've only featured in a couple of PL games and he's left Firmino, Coutinho and Studge on the bench.

The really ominous thing is that yes, there have been occassion's where we have fielded teams like this before in prem games but only when we have given up on the ghost on the league and directed all our efforts into trying to win a cup!
Those last 3 windows are well and truly coming back to bite us on the @rse now.
