MANCHESTER CITY VS LIVERPOOL - Mon 23/8/2010 ko 20:00

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby damjan193 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 3:09 pm

Well you know what's fecked up? Having a ticket for the 20 : 30 basketball game and Liverpool - City playing at 21:00. Shouldnt have bought the damn ticket. Anyway, I think that we will win or draw this one. There shouldnt be too much goals on this one. I'm guessing a 1 - 0 win or a 1 -1/0 - 0 draw. Since Agger and Cole are out, Aurelio will probably play on the left back position and Gerrard should be behind Torres with Mascherano and Poulsen in the midfield. Maybu a different combination could be played with Rodriguez on the wing and Kuyt behind Torres with Gerrard and Mascherano in the midfield, but I prefer the previous one.

C'mon, let's be POSITIVE and go out and win this. Who wants to be two games in and on one or two points?!?!?! Not an easy start to the season, but Arsenal were beatable and so are Citeh. Let's face it, if we don't win then sides like Bolton, West Brom, BLACKPOOL and Wolves will be above us, and even VILLA will be after being tonked 6-0 by the barcodes.

Three points is what our season needs, let's settle for a draw if it is level with a few minutes on the clock and not before the whistle has blown for kick-off....................................

Aurelio is a bloody liability at the moment. He's not match fit, he was poison the other day....

3-0 to us if they keep the same lineup as against Spurs. 2-1 to us if they start with Adebayor up top.

Gerrard and Kuyt the scorers. Johnson and Torres with the assists. Jovanovic to pick up a yellow card.

The lotto numbers for the midweek draw are: 14, 24, 38, 27, 22, 6 and the bonus ball is no. 35.

IMHO.

I read today that Adebayor is an unhappy bunny at the moment. So I doubt he'll be starting tomorrow...

With the absense of joey cole, this is our best 11 for this fixture imo.

We need more numbers, deffo if kuyt and mash go.

Not just numbers, we'll need starting 11 players, i.e better than Maxi and Lucas

I dont fancy the Masch and Lucas partnership if Im being honest, I'd rather Poulson started ahead of Lucas
