LIVERPOOL VS NEWCASTLE UNITED - 30th december 2011, 19:45gmt

Liverpool Football Club - Games

Postby maypaxvobiscum » Mon Dec 26, 2011 6:30 pm

This fixture has brought us many memorable moments especially in the mid-90s.

Today, they are back in the top flight and doing very well, with very astute signings.
Newcastle are one of the teams who are contending for a top 6 finish and we should do our very best to gain 3 points against them.

Would Andy Carroll put aside sentiments and lead Liverpool to victory?

Would Craig Bellamy return to haunt his former club?

Or would our lousy home form continue?

I'm very confident this will be another Anfield Horror Show, ie 0-0, 1-1 or even a defeat since Newcastle have been strong this season.

Ba is on form so you never know Newcastle could probably nick this one.

I reckon it will be 1-1.

Gerrard will be playing which is a major plus for us.  He was magnificent against Blackburn and he will be even better against Newcastle.  We are going to win this game.  3 - 1 (carroll, Gerrard, Agger)
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Suarez to miss this one due to one game ban for telling the Fulham fans what to do with themselves!

Gerrard is the best finisher in the club so if he starts we may see a roasting as we create sooo much

I wouldn't start Carroll because I don't think his head will be in it plus he is shitee

I've been wanting to see a Suarez Gerrard combination so hopefully I'll get it tommorow.

I'd like to see

                     Reina

Johnson.       Agger.     Skrtle.       Enrique

Maxi.        Adam.        Henderson.    Bellamy

                        Gerrard
                                  Suarez

3-0

Suarez banned for sticking middle finger up at Fulham

see it sounds pretty cool when you put it that way  :D

Perfect timing to get suspended for Carroll to play against Newcastle eh. Let's see how we get on playing to his strengths, this could result in a selectiong headache in the future, here's hoping

This fixture usually brings a decent goals return as well, I'm hoping this continues
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

We have the tightest defense in the league and we can't hit a barn door from 3 foot away...    I'm failing to see it happening  :D

Make that downing wide left and Gerrard just behind Bellamy now
