Reina

Johnson   Agger     Skrtel   Enrique

                      Gerrard

Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

If we don't score during our initial spell of maintaining possession/controlling the game we'll be in for another long day.  Once we lose that initial jump in our step and we don't score our confidence always goes to :censored:.

I wouldn't have Henderson in the team, he hasn't performed and needs to earn his place.

I would freshen things up and have Kelly in for Johnson (bench),
Bellamy for Maxi (bench), Spearing for Adam (bench), Gerrard for Henderson (sat in the stands), Kuyt for Suarez.

Sh!t, I might miss this one as well... who plays on fcking Fridays man.. Anyway, with Suarez banned, I expect Carroll to start in our attack. Most of you would have Henderson benched because of his performance in our previous match, but playing Adam and Gerrard in our midfield will be even worse. So I suggest we play Adam and Hendo in midfield with Gerrard as an advanced midfielder, just behind Carroll. Unless we're willing to give Shelvey or Spearing a chance.

                      Reina

    Johnson  Skrtel   Agger   Enrique

    Bellamy   Hendo  Adam   Downing

                Gerrard

                      Carroll

We've the best defence in the Prem league. Just score some fookin goals lads.

Belamy to start. No feckin about. Glen Johnson in right mid, Stu Downing back on the left, and cross the bleedin balls in to whoever is up front.

Do that, and we should win 3-0.

   Johnson  Skrtel   Agger   Enrique

   Bellamy   Carra Adam   Downing

               Gerrard

                     Carroll

Carroll has to start this one, and Downing will as well to help get him the balls he needs.  He'll be motivated for this game.  He'll want to score so he's got the opportunity to not celebrate and show Newcastle he still cares for them.

Stevie to start and we'll see a completely different game then against Blackburn.  He's still got it.

erm...Carra in midfield?? I quite like the idea of Jonno and Downing either side, both can cross the ball and Andy thrives on crosses so that might play more into his hands than when Luis is on the pitch. This game will certainlty present a good chance to poly to Carroll's strengths and I hope we do. Bellamy and Carroll return to haunt Newcastle, quite like the sound of it
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

Why would you have Carra in midfield, is it so that someone can hoof balls up to Carroll from slightly close range?  :D

If I were allowed to bet in the states, I'd match it.

Glad to see the few people who still have faith in Carroll.  :D
