If and that a big IF we were to lose i wonder how the reaction would be... ???

If we lose , rafa knows he needs to sign a player like silva . Silva + Aqualiani = better than alonso and thats what we need

Are you going to lend Rafa the 25 mill plus to enable him to buy silva plus the extra cb and the extra striker we need

:censored: the extra striker and centre back . We still have 15 million i reckon + the rest in installments for silva 10 million or so , i'm sure the owners know that rafa needs the cash and so far he has spent nothing of this seasons kitty yet

Surely there's no need for two central midfielders in this one?

Skrtel out for 2-3 weeks cracked jaw.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Fair enough Mick. For a second I thought you were advocating a Subbuteo formation of 3-1-6. Mind you it is pretty effective in that game come to think of it  ???.

I read a thing by a top coach who's name escapres me right now who said in future everyone will play 4-6-0. I think he said "by the year 2020" or something. Utter b0ll0cks obviously, but it did make me think for about 15 minutes at the time.

I would like to see Riera on the left and Benayoun in the middle for this one instead of Lucas.

Ah right. I guess we're going to test out the theories which were being bandied about on here the other day about you only needed THREE centre backs plus kids. Chelsea did it apparently  :)

On a more serious note, will it make Stoke leave the bus in the car park and actually come out and play? On an even more serious note, it's terrible news for the player and us, we are in big trouble.

Fancy that though, you go into the season with only three centre backs and suddently you are caught short. Feck me who would have thought it   ???

He will have to wear a mask when he is back according to his agent.
