???

there were pictures of them making monkey gestures at our black players.  And not sure about the ethnic similarities or differences but they booed Kyrgiakos the entire night solely because of his nationality.

The Macedonian / Greece dispute runs deep -

"The Greek government refuses to recognize its neighbor's constitutional name, the Republic of Macedonia, which it sees as a thinly veiled bid to lay claim to three of its northern districts, a region known as Greek Macedonia. After Macedonia declared independence in 1991, Greece prevented it from joining the United Nations and imposed an economic blockade that nearly strangled the fledgling country.

Greece also vetoed Macedonia's bid to join NATO last year and is blocking its admission to the European Union until it changes its name to the Republic of Skopje, the Slavic Republic of Macedonia or something similar."

It does indeed, one of my best mates is marrying a Macedonian girl next year (am heading overthere for the wedding next summer) and I mentioned the booing of Krygiakos to her at the weekend and she was not at all surprised, in fact she applauded it!

Looking forward to taking time out from takeover talk and watching the game this evening!

DM: Lucas
CM: Gerrard
CM: Aquilani
LW: Jovanovic
RW: Cole
FW: Ngog

Subs: Pacheco, Kelly, Greek, Amoo.. bring 3 of them in

Looking forward to seeing young Pacheco and Joe Cole, I feel Pacheco could be the player to find stardom this season and Torres will love the new flair that will be in the team.

Thats an attacking lineup... I want too impressed with our formation when we played decent opposition.. Seems like Roy is going ahead with it regardless..

Leaves us a little exposed on the counter imo but i dont think it'll be much of a problem against such poor opposition... Hopefully we'll get it sorted out by the start of the league campaign..

Pacheco won't do anything at all because he's far too small, I'll stake my reputation on him having an absolute stinker.

(If that isn't enough to make him have a stormer nothing is, go on son, show us what you've got).

Why? Cole clearly is a better player so play him in his favoured position

Well IMO Coles better years have him out wide where he was outstanding for Chelsea for two years and is excellent there so have him out wide where he is excellent and have pacheco behind Ngog in the position where he has just excelled in the Euros 19s - not rocket science is it .
