Head to Head: P14, Liverpool Wins - 11, Draws - 3, Hull wins - 0.

Last two meetings: KC Stadium - Hull 1 - 3 Liverpool.
                            Anfield - Liverpool 2 - 2 Hull.

Form: Liverpool - WWWWW
         Hull - WWDLL

Current Positions:

Liverpool - 3rd
Hull - 19th

Team News:

Liverpool:
A Aquilani Ankle/Foot - 4th Oct 09
D Agger Back Injury - 25th Oct 09

Hull:
S Mouyokolo Hamstring    - May feature
A Gardner   Knee Injury - May feaure

So,with Hull yet to win against us, and without a win in 3 games (play tonight against the bitters) i don't see much changing this coming weekend. I predict a 3-0 win, with a brace from Torres and one from Benny.

It's our last home game for a while isn't it? Awkward little sequence with Hull home, Fiorentina away then off to Stamford Bridge - not awkward necessarily in terms of difficulty, but you don't want your best players tired playing that run of games ahead of the Chelsea game. So I might go half and half, rest half our key players on Saturday and then the other half against Fiorentina. I'd be tempted to write the Fiorentina game off as a can lose game given its nuisance timing

Straight to the point. Is Mascherano really needed to start in this one? Personally I'd revert back to the same side which beat Burnley.

Full skwad out against Hull please Mr. Benitez, lets batter them for the first 60 mins, get 5 goals up then make a change or two and cruise it through to the end. simples.

I'm going for an exhibition of football.

I predict ...

5 - 0  (Torres, Kuyt, Johnson, Gerrard, Carra)

Yeh that sounds a good shout, i think players prefer to just keep it ticking over and then have 40 mins rest or whatever rather than not play at all.

No tinkering.  Strongest 11 to start, get a lead then take the big players off.

              Reina

Johnson  Carra  Skrtl  Aurelio

Kuyt    Gerrard   Masch   Reira

          Benny
               Torres

When it is 3-0 take off Torres for Ngog, Gerrard for Lucas and Kuyt for Babel.

Simples!

I'm going for the first time since Blackburn back in 2004, so needless to say I'm rather buzzing atm :)

Given the nature of our last few wins, and after the widespread predictions of handing out as s whuppins to denrecen, Leeds etc, i'll have to go for a nervy , tight game that we win 2-1

I think it will be the usual parked bus against us in this one. They were hammered by Everton, but played most of their reserves, and wont be THAT easy against us. Early goal and we could have an easy 3-0 win, set off at a slow pace and we could face a battle to win 1-0.

So I am going for an early goal and 3-0 but with my fingers crossed for that early goal.

                         Reina
Johnson       Skrtel       Carra       Aurelio

Kuyt           Gerrard     Masch      Reina

                  Benny   Torres

Wouldn't surprise me at all. I think our days of struggling at home against packed defences are very much over (touchwood) :D

If that did happen, I very much doubt whether Phil Brown would be in a job come Monday morning
