Ciggy, I honestly reckon we'll beat them n all. Rafa can get another one up on Ancellotti
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Great result today and bar a cheap goal, Liverpool dominated. 6 goals, not a bad return. Would have been more if Torres and Gerrard had stayed on as Hull had completely collapsed in the last 20 minutes.

Poor Hull, what a miserable day for them.

Really impressed the way we kept going, even when they scored and made it 1 - 1 we where so positive and did not buckle. Great performance
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

great win and all that.....

just hope and pray for two things....

1. our players stay injury free
2. that this big win early in the season isnt the same hoodoo we have experienced over the last couple of seasons....

eg: September 07 -08 season
Liverpool won their first game of September against Derby 6–0.[6] This was Liverpool's biggest league win since April 2003, when they beat West Brom by the same scoreline,[citation needed] and took them to the top of the Premier League table.

After a two-week international break, Liverpool's next league game of the season was away to Portsmouth. The match ended in a 0–0 draw, after Pepe Reina saved Nwankwo Kanu's penalty kick.[7] The following week, the home league game against Birmingham, ended in a similar goalless scoreline.

and in 08-09 season
Newcastle 1:5 Liverpool
Stoke City 0:0 Liverpool
Liverpool 1:1 Everton
Wigan 1:1 Liverpool

on brighter note what about gerrards goal best goal of season so far wat a beauty :)

Torres was on fire.

Torres was unbelievable. It was like he was toying with the defender. What amazes me was his chance of pace and his finishing. His header and footwork are both above average. Just an amazing player. I tried not to be negative about this but we really do have to sort out our defense on Set piece and CB. At times they were confused again. Overall, we capitalized on our chances. I also thought the left side with Riera and Insua, the way they crossover and move forward opened up a lot of space. Our left side looked very good indeed.

By all accounts he did well mate when he came on, and I guess that's what you mean with your sarcastic thrust. That said, he would have to play well on many many occasions to balance the ledger. I quite like the lad myself and have stuck up for him a bit recently, but he has been tripe too many times in the past to be getting the smileys out just yet I reckon.

I agree he needs to play on the right or up top (with up top being my preference) but he's still go a way to go yet. He is though our second best centre forward, I'm absolutely convinced he offers more than Egg Nog or Voronin.
