While Arsenal have hammered everyone except our ten men. Good point that was, could have been three as well  :buttrock .

And west brom drew against Spurs, too early in the season (except for a single case of Chelsea grrrr) to expect consistant results against ANY team, whether you think they are :censored: or not.

I think we will will today, 2-0 - Miereles will come on second half if hes not starting

Can't see that being the team that ben posted. The only reason the portugese lad wouldn't be playing was if he had a niggle or something . Think mereiles will be playing meslf instead of Lucas and agger instead of Skrtle.

New players just dont go straight into the first possible match in the prem at the moment. Dont have a clue why its just the way it seems to be!

Just this weekend:

Asmoah Gyan, Van Der Vaart, Ben Arfa + Tiote all started on the bench for their clubs.

It would be a bit bizzare to play Lucas instead of Meireles but I wouldnt be surprised if it happends tbh

Van Der Vaart started on his debut. I hope to see Meireles at some point today unless Lucas and Poulsen do pass forward.

I think it's very important that we get a result today. Being up there with the mighty seasiders will give the squad a huge boost (a bit tongue in cheek!). Sitting in 4th though will look good in the papers tomorrow. This is a chance for the boys to really kick the season off and issue a statment of belief. C'mon redman!

I'm unusually fired up for this one, can't work out why really. I fancy us to put on a performance, it won't be easy though as they are unbeaten in 16 at Home by all accounts.

Cannot understand Skrtel being in ahead of Agger.

The rest of the team pretty much picks itself, apart from Lucas/Meireles, but as Fauxy says there seems to be a trend at the moment of not putting many new signings straight into the starting eleven.

I see this being a tight one but us sneaking it by the odd goal.

Isn't a bit worrying that our team sheet is available on the internet a day before every game?
