Well i'm worried that we have left it so late and the teams we will try and by players off can more or less hold us to ransom over the asking price. Its already happened Benfica have refused a bid of 10 million euro for this bloke and we immediatley make a revised bid of 15 million. I'm a bit annoyed with how things have gone this transfer window. It promised so much after winning the Champions league i thought we would be able to atract great players not Crouch and Zenden. I don't blame anyone for Owen not signing i mean £16m is tacking the but rafa has constantly been telling us he wants a CB and a RW and now its the last day of the transfer window.

spurs have like 8 centre backs and 8 midfeilders but they stil have no were near the class of xavi alonso and gerrard and to be honest i never seen why ppl are so hyped about jenas he ain t even that gd he is kinda solid but not a world ebater and no beater than the other midfeilders they have

We have spent £18 million this summer but pulled back £8.5 mill through the sale of Baros and Diarra . Total expenditure £9.5 mill .Not exactly big money for a club hoping to challenge for the title. Despite banging on and on for months about "we need a right midfielder and a central defender" with 12 hours to go Rafa apparently is no nearer to fulfulling those needs . Unless he conjures up some last minute magic we'll have to continue with what we've got .
On the bright side our accountants will be happy , they team may look incomplete but our bank balance looks great.
