I was saying a couple of years ago that there should have been a boycott of the ground, every entrance with a picket on it to make sure nobody goes in. The most sensible option now is for people to invade the pitch and do a sit down protest at every Home game. A hundred or so punters linking arms ought to be able to get the game called off I should think, and that would be a start.

In all seriousness though, it's high time the government stepped in, or at the very least the useless c...s at the FA. The man can't pay and won't pay, so he should be fecked off out of football and the country for good.

The fat fella from the Express said Liverpool fans wont stand for this any longer, that will be it now, if Hicks underestimated them he is in for a suprise.
They will do things now and he will be in for a shock.

What can the fans do? How many are going to protest? A few hundred a few thousand? What difference will it make? Unless the home gates are going to drop to 250000 or less the Americans won't feel any pain.

I'm with you I don't think Hicks has underestimated the fans but the question is how many will be prepared to go all the way and either boycott games and/or protest outside the ground until these idiots **** off back to America for good?

What I'm saying is how much will it hurt the Americans and the club financially if only 5000 boycott matches or stage demonstrations?

What will I do? Write letters, get in contact with other fans over what is being planned, join protests, show support against the Americans.

Good. Then don't worry about whether or not something is going to have an impact so long as you try yourself. Eventually more people will wake up when it gets bad enough and maybe they'll follow suite. Eventually something will give.

The problem we have is this . I've just bumped into a neighbour , a fellow Red.
He had his Standard Chartered shirt on ready to go the pub to watch the match later on. When I said I couldn't really care less about the match 'cos we have far far bigger problems to worry about , he rounded on me and said that's what's wrong with our supporters these days , they're too obsessed with the owners, who'll be gone soon anyway so let's support the lads !!
Told him about the reports about Hicks getting finance and he just said 'B*ll*cks , it ain't gonna happen.'
Too many are burying their heads in the sand and refusing to accept that we are in a dire situation.

Thats the main problem mate, to many fans with there heads stuck up there ar.ses , thinking it will sort itself out,

The only hope i have left now is that Hicks would still (as far as i can gather) have to under go the New FA fit and proper owners test if he takes over as sole owner. Now i know the FA are dumb feckers but surely he wouldn't be allowed to pass!!!!!

Martin O’Neill could be set to replace Roy Hodgson as Liverpool manager, according to reports.

The former Aston Villa and Celtic manager is wanted by two of the consortiums currently interested in an Anfield buyout.

That could mean Hodgson being dumped after just four months in charge at Anfield.

Current Anfield co-owner Tom Hicks would keep the former Fulham boss if his plan to buy out partner George Gillett goes ahead.

But other interested parties would replace him with Northern Irishman O'Neill.

Not saying its true but it would be Naive to think any potential new owners wouldnt be looking to get there own man in.

Load of sh!te that, I would rather have hodgson, I don't like O'neil and if we got new owners in which isn't going to happen anytime soon they hopefully would go for a bigger name in management
