We are Liverpool, let's keep a bit of dignity. Flag burning is disgraceful.

Do you remember the Man Utd fans buring the flag when the Glazers arrived?

You're an idiot

We are Liverpool, let's keep a bit of dignity. Flag burning is disgraceful, no matter what the intimidation...

I was just trying to get a reaction, well done brain dead, I was tempted to say use the statue of Shankly to make it look as though he is holding it - think how symbolic it would be, the man who laid the foundations for this club burning the flag of those threatening to jeopardise the club, brings a tear to my eye.

The yanks know it is time to move on, hopefully DIC will sort it out. Need to get shut of Parry once and for all, he is a liability. Hopefully his dealings and messing baout will be exposed soon.

They care nothing for how important our traditions are and have made no effort whatsoever to try and clean up the mess they have made. They look like fools but dont even care.
If they do sell to DIC they have simply used our club to make 'a quick buck' or £70 million...it will a travesty if they sell because we have been used..and it will be a travesty if they dont sell because we are in the hands of two kunts that care nothing for LFC,all they care about is money, they feel fu.ck all for us fans, the players the manager and his staff or the values that LFC have held and will hold for years to come!

The one plus side is that no matter what happens we will always be here when the two Yanks are dead LFC will still be going strong and that will be the proof that capitalism cannot overcome passion.

Protest or not..boycott or not,we need to be heard thats for sure. The sad part is i dont think they care whether we want them or not.For the time being anyway the power is in their hands.
LFC is everything to us but to G&H its just a small part of an empire...or something as little as a pawn on a chessboard!
The sooner the kunts are gone the better in my eyes, but whos for sure that DIC are gonna be any better??

This is a rocky part in our history and its crucial that the next step is the right one or things could get worse!

Good first post i agree with the vast majority of it including the yanks not caring if we want them out or not. Which is why i feel we cannot rule out boycots out of hand cos if there were boycots of matches then they would care as the asking price to DIC would have to come tumbling down. So you see IMHO we are the money men the ones with the power not hicks and co so be warned

Leave the flag burning to the religious extremists (and the Mancs).

I agree that we need to show our dissaproval but I really feel any flag burning is totally counterproductive.

Sorry for the 'idiot' jibe, tensions / emotions are obviously running high...

Im sorry too.

I think the Yanks know they arent wanted, but they bought this club for the money, not to be loved, I think that they know after their rows with Rafa that they are on their way, the money needs to be right.

How many Chairmen/owners over the years have been hated by the fans but stayed the course?

So what do you suggest?

Boycott all matches from now on..so to deprive the two yanks of revenue?
In theory a boycott will make big waves but at the end of the day a lot of people live to see LFC,a lot of working class people like myself put their spare cash aside to buy tickets and to get to Anfield!
Any supporter has a right to go to Anfield to see the team they love.

I cant believe what i have read on here. One poster even suggested picket lines?
Yeah so picture the scene..outside the ground some supporters wanting a boycott and some wanting to support their idols on the pitch.Redmen trying to talk other redmen out of going into Anfield??

IS THAT WHAT WE HAVE BECOME???

The LFC fans way has always been to be heard....the teams way over our history has been to win and be successful.
The best way to get out of this mess is to do both together!

An in ground protest is a great idea and will be seen and heard by millions,To hammer the fu.ck out of Villa will be another step in the right direction.

A boycott is a mad and totally hideous idea and could lead to friction outside the ground between fellow reds!

Would'nt the press just love that...I can almost see the headlines on the frontpage of the S*N on Tuesday if that happened...
