What do you all prefer for the tomorrow match, United-Chelsea?
I prefer a Chelsea win, I think Mancs are the real danger for the title. Althought a draw wouldn´t be a bad result for us.

No,if we play 1 forward against Stoke,there is no need for forwards against bitters. I would play him only in CM. But we must be cautious,it would not be ok to lose that game for team nad fans moral. Draw would do for me. I am sure that Rafa is thinkinig the same way

Well,even if we didn`t manage to score against stoke city twice this season,you must admit thata Rafa is doing great job.
Remember Liverpool under Houllier... Now we are top of the league and we are playing the best football in europe alongside Barca. We couldn`t beat stoke,but our line-up was spot on. Carra reminded me of Cafu in his best days in Roma at RB(Benitez made him look that good on RB,even I personally would try with Pennant at RB because it was Stoke,but Carra is also good attacker). I agree also that Agger shouldn`t play every game... But during the game I was thinking,he could run with the ball in the opponents half better than Hyypia,cause it was Stoke after all,no need to adapt against them. Even Hyypia did great job. Lucas Leiva looks bigger and quicker everytime I see him. He has ability,skills,he is quick and strong and I can realise why is he better than Diego. He should be our captain when Gerrard is not on the field. And two holding midfielders is much needed against Stoke,because Stoke beat arsenal this season,you know. Benayoun on the other hand is the most exciting player after big Zizou. He is sooo flowing footballer with the finest final balls,I LIKE HIM. He is also strong in duel and in the air and he don`t drink beer so he must be better player than El Zhar,Pennant,Babel and all of our youngsters. And strikers... I would rather play against Stoke Keane babel Kuyt,or Torres the front 3. But when I saw that big guy andy higinbototomomom,I understood rafa`s masterplan. There was no need for Babel,or Keane to lose their stamina against some of the best defenders in EPL,cause they couldn`t do anything.

Babel is developing in fantastic player. Rafa is doing the same thing that Fergie did with Ronaldo. And also Rafa knows in which game Keane will score goal(s) so he plays him only when Keane will deffo score. Only thing I think Rafa could do better is that mess in front of our goal. these CBs are not world class deffo.

I hate these negative posters. we are top of the league,stoke are bottom. We will show them next season. Even if we don`t win premierleague we did enough this year. How can anyone expect from manager to make a challenge in 5 years? It is not a lot of time. Give him time,FFS

yeah we are top and we should be happy but the annoying thing is mate the points that we are dropping against the dire sides. Atleast though as you said this season we are making some sort of effort to try and win the league. But what a chance we have this season and we are making it hard for ourselves.

He makes the best subs,he is buying the best players,we are playing some of the finest positive football,without the shitee persons like babel,penannt... Only thing that Rafa is constantly mistaking about is our defence. Skrtel,Agger,carra are not good CBs,they can`t defend properly. But I suppose Rafa wants to sort our attacking game first and then other areas. Give him time,he is adapting on EPL. About his signings,I regret only for Biscan,others were spot on,but couldn`t adapt on rotation,sadly.

Dont you find it odd that he has to strikers worth 40 mill combined on the bench and yet he chooses kuyt over them. I still dont understand his love affair with kuyt. The guy cant score his kack. How could you say carragher is not good enough. I think you are WUM or its your first day supporting liverpool. Carragher is the heart of our defence. Skrtel and agger will come good in time. Biscan was bought by houllier by the way so i dont know why you mention him.

This fixture unfortunatly is typical of what we have seen before and will continue to see for the remainder of the season. Whether anyone agrees with it or not Rafa plays a certain style and sets up his team a certain way and will not change this for anybody.
First and foremost Rafa is a defensive manager who would rather take a point than risk losing it pushing for three, clearly he believes that these hard earned point may prove vital later in the season and that we can rely on others dropping points around us. This may prove to be correct and has done so far this season with us sitting top, however I just can't see it as MUFC are bound to come strong at some point. The thing is however we have seen this for five years now so we simply have to accept it as it will not change, if we are to win the league it will be in a long drawn out struggle.

Wow WHAT A dissapointing result.  Rafa better pray that tomorrow's result goes in our favor.  God damn man why can't he just play Stevie in midfield Lucas is not good enough especially against teams that are going to park the bus like Stoke did.  The obvious choice in attack was Keane and Torres with Stevie/Masch in midfield why did he go with Lucas, that boy single handedly was the cause of this result imo.  He was supposed to control the match and did a horrendous job.

I like your thinking mate spot on. I can see why Rafa started with that line up as it worked for us at Newcastle but by half time it was obviously not working and we should have switched Lucas for a striker, Torres if he's fit enough. then Keane on for Kuyt or Benayoun at some point. How Lucas stayed on all game I'll never know! Times like now I wish we had a Rafa blog so he could tell us what we're missing.
But hey still top for now and back to winning ways next week.
