CHELSEA V LIVERPOOL

MINGOLET - 9 superb performance
CAN - 8 he had a great game
SKRTEL - 8 another who had an excellent game, lucky not to give a pen away though
SAKHO - 7 one shaky moment but deffo lost our way defensively when he went off
MORENO - 7 probably his best all round game for the club
MARKOVIC - 6 quiet game going forward but we missed his industry when he went off
LUCAS - 8  for 90 minutes he was immense but ran out of steam in injury time, lucky to stay on in the end
HENDO - 8. Another who was lucky to stay on but worked his @rse off and did well v Hazard when he moved out wide
GERRARD - 6  tried his best but should have been subbed after an hour
COUTINHO - 8  our main attacking threat, fine performance but like Moreno and Hendo should have scored
STERLING - 6  tried hard but decision making could have been better

Mingolet - 9 his best game for us by a mile
can - 8 well up to speed with the pace of football here now looking a right decent player.
skrtel - 8 strong game from martin
sakho - 5 thats the ropiest he's looked in ages
moreno - 6 put in some great runs and tackles just failed to get in behind
markovic - 5 tough game for him, also failed to stretch their defense
henderson - 6 plenty of energy but little influence. very lucky to stay on
lucas - 7 even though he was lucky to stay on he was excellent for 80 minutes. completely burned out by extra time though.
gerrard - 7 good game from stevie. busted a gut both ends of the field tonight
coutinho - 9 quality again from phil, still very young and will be the complete player when he does start finding the net.
sterling - 6 good runs but bad decison making at times

johnson - 6 wasn't terrible
baloteli - 5 half good and then half bad from mario. didnt do his cause any favor either.
lambert - 5 never got involved

Mingolet - 9 Excellent game with a couple of great saves
can - 8 Played very well held his own against a very aggressive match-up
skrtel - 7 Same as Can but still hysterical at times.
sakho - 5 Not a good game ,from the get go he looked a bit shaken.
moreno - 6I guess he did ok but again lack of execution
markovic - 5 Not a good game ,worked hard but really it's not what we pay him from ,didn't bother Chelsea at all.
henderson - 5 Squad player ,can't be an automatic pick ,yes he works the hardest on the pitch but ffs where is the end product and that sitter he missed?? insane.
lucas - 7 Good game but run out of energy
gerrard - 6 good first 20-30 after that really average with some painful failed pass/kicks to watch
coutinho - 8 Not consistent today although unstoppable ,don't know what to do with his missed chances ,they are just piling up.
sterling - 5 Stupid Raheem showed up today ,the fact he didn't set Gerrard for a 1on1 with the keeper is inexcusable ,can dream of getting big bucks if he can't pass or score. Would try Ibe instead of him for a couple of.

johnson - 5 Embarrassing to see him in a red shirt ,although did nothing wrong.
baloteli - 5 His time here is over i hope BR understand it
lambert - 5 never got involved

Moreno - 6 Cant remember him do much wrong or right
Markovic - 6 Hard worker
Henderson - 6 See above
Lucas - 8 his under ratedness is ridiculous

Mignolet - 9 - Much maligned by many (including me) but outstanding last night.
Can - 7 - Continues to do very well despite being played in his least favoured position
Skrtel - 8 - Excellent
Sakho - 6 - One or two dodgy moments otherwise pretty solid
Moreno - 6 - Decent game, unlucky not to have scored, loved how he put Ivanovic on his a'rse
Markovic - 6 - Didn't do much wrong but not at his "sparkling" best
Henderson - 6 - Ran and ran, did ok.
Lucas - 8 - Solid and Combative, kept his head when some were losing theirs.
Gerrard -7 - Did well but the fizz associated with his shooting and free kicks just wasn't there.
Coutinho - 7 - Good game, even though he sometimes takes the ball on a tad too far.
Sterling - 6 - Trying to remember how young he is and how much he has to learn BUT his decision making is often just fking awful !

Johnson - 4 - His time with us is surely up, showed nothing to suggest we still need him
Balotelli - 4 - Showed glimpses of quality but he's still a "Show Pony"
Lambert - 4 - Felt sorry for the fella being thrown in as late as he was, desperation from Rodgers

Mignolet - 8 - actually began to look like a commanding keeper last night, but his distribution remains woeful
Can - 7 - another decent game ,but you can see he's never going to be 100% happy or effective in that position
Skrtel - 8 - good, controlled, agressive performance
Sakho - 7 - thought he was pretty good apart from that suicide pass
Moreno - 6 - did his job mostly
Markovic - 6 - disappointing in an attacking sense but worked pretty hard
Henderson - 7 - never gives up
Lucas - 8 - lucky to stay on but his contribution to our solidity is obvious
Gerrard -7 - a decent performance
Coutinho - 8 - a number of impressive moments and great energy
Sterling - 6 - he's not a striker and was never a striker. he at least asks questions of defenses.

Johnson - 4 - added nothing
Balotelli - 2 - what is the point of balotelli? apart from the odd flash of pure skill he never does the right thing
Lambert - 4 - he'll always do his best but its just not enough

Mignolet - 9 Undeniably brilliant performance
Can - 8 Absolutely love this lad ,but cant help the heightening feeling that the boost to our defence has come at a price of the class he would add to our midfield.
Skrtel - 8 Great game ,a real colossus at the back
Sakho - 7 The disappointment I feel at his loss through injury belies completely my earlier reservations with his form.... I stand corrected
Moreno - 7 I thought the lad done really well and was up for the battle
Markovic - 7 His withdrawal offered Chelsea more options going forward
Henderson - 6 Industrious ,but looked a bit overawed by the importance of the game.
Lucas - 8 Exceptional ,but needed to be withdrawn when he was  clearly flagging
Gerrard - 6 Sluggish and left holes that Chelsea just waltzed through after it became apparent to Mourinho he was all but spent after the 60th minute .
Coutinho - 8 Some beautiful touches and showed a quick turn of pace that took him beyond the Chelsea rearguard
Sterling - 5 Wasteful ,and abysmal first touch ,clearly not a front man.

Subs:
Johnson - 1 Left gaps whenever he trotted forward and then nonchalantly forgetting his way back ,pulled our defence out of shape ,and he's supposed to be one of ours !
Balotelli - 6 I actually thought his all round distribution and ingenuity provided a welcome distraction from continually watching  Sterling giving the ball away.
Lambert - 4 The only corner he's turned is the one that leads to Greggs .

Ditto !!

Amazing and pleasing to see Mignolet get man of match (by some distance too), especially when many of us have slated him most of the season myself included
