WIMBLEDON V LIVERPOOL

MINGOLET - 5 made a couple of decent saves but should have done better with the goal
CAN - 6 did okay, must have been a bit of a culture shock for him
SKRTEL - 7 had a good game I thought, not easy against a side as physical as them, he won't have faced many 16 stone centre forwards who can bench press near 400lb.
SAKHO - 7 developing into one of our best players
MANQUILLO - 5 did well to stay on after nearly having his ankle broke in the first minute
LUCAS - 6 did okay
HENDERSON - 5 did okay but a bit conservative with his passing
MARKOVIC - 7 had a good game, starting to look a class act
COUTINHO - 7 like Markovic did really well in conditions that weren't condusive to flair play
GERRARD - 7 not his best all round performance but 2 great goals
LAMBERT - 4 not his best game

SUBS
ENRIQUE - 5 did okay
BALOTELLI - 6 looked lively when he came on, should be getting more of a chance
TOURE - not on long enough to give him a mark

MINGOLET - 5 ,Great Save negated by a terrible reaction to set pieces.
CAN - 6 ,was active ,drove some good balls forward ,was manhandled at times.
SKRTEL - 6 ,was OK but like his peers didn't dominate the defense.
SAKHO -7 ,Our best CB ,yes has some "blackout" moments but overall ability to move the ball forward and accurately is great.
MANQUILLO - 5 ,nothing to write about ,yet to show if he has real value ,he is active ,strong and fast but no a lot of impact.
LUCAS - 5 ,Typical
HENDERSON - 5- His donkey minutes are growing in alarming rate,
MARKOVIC - - 5  - Played like an LFC ladies member ,soft, indecisive ,made some runs which ended in real poor execution.
COUTINHO - 7 - Was roughed up all day long but looked lively.
GERRARD - 6 - 2 great goals with a lot of disappearing minutes.
LAMBERT - 4 - Nothing

MINGOLET - 6 Made some crucial stops ,but being confronted by Biggie Smalls  who exudes more sweat  than the floor of Jakarta's Nike warehouse is daunting. 
CAN - 6 I thought he done well ,especially in the closing stages when he got forward more.   
SKRTEL - 6 stuck to his task well 
SAKHO - 7 No nonsense defending 
MANQUILLO 6 - Kudos for recovering from the 'Eduardo like tackle ,and a lovely little cross. 
LUCAS - 6 Thought in the first half he was exceptional in controlling the middle
HENDERSON - 4 Poor game from Jordan 
MARKOVIC - - 6 Looked absolutely rapid on a pitch with bigger holes than Jodie Marsh 
COUTINHO - 7 Looked bright in the first and shrugged off some heavy tackles 
GERRARD - 7 His free kick was sumptuous ,and his header brave 
LAMBERT - 1 Passenger who is predominantly being played by the manager to prove a point

Mignolet - 6 - think some of you are a bit harsh on him. He could have done better for the goal but he WAS fouled. Made a few decent stops as well
Can - 5 - don't think he did too well, but understandable. Liked his cameo in midfield
Skrtel - 6
Sakho - 7
Manquillo - 6 - good assist but was kind of poor overall. But like Can, I can't really blame him
Lucas - 5.5 - though him and Henderson is the partnership I want to see in our midfield, they weren't too good yesterday
Henderson - 5.5 - see above
Markovic - 5 - some good runs but poor final ball/execution
Coutinho - 6 - oppo was all over him but he handled it well I think
Gerrard - 8 - not a lot more you could ask from him considering he played in a forward role. Scored the 2 goals and set up a few chances as well

SUNDERLAND V LIVERPOOL

MINGOLET - 6 did okay but totally lost the flight of Johnson's effort which could have cost us 2 points
CAN - 7 had a really good game
SKRTEL - 6 didn't have much to do but made a vital clearance
SAKHO - 7 like Can he is growing in stature with every game
MORENO 6 - did okay
LUCAS 6 - unspectacular but absolutely crucial to how we play, fulcrum of the team
HENDERSON - 6 looks better in the middle, needs to be more progressive with his passing though
MARKOVIC - 7 really good performance topped off with a goal he had to scrap for, well done
GERRARD 7 - looked quite lively I thought
COUTINHO - 8 my MoM, in this form he's the most creative player in the division
BORINI - 5 worked hard but lacks that touch of class

LOVREN - 6 did okay
BALOTELLI - 6 looked lively when he came on, he should be getting more of a chance

CAN - 6 alright game. was better in his previous games. was hoping he could get the midfield under control in the 2nd half but he couldn't.
SKRTEL - 6 didn't have much to do but made a vital clearance
SAKHO - 7 I like him. He looks clumsy with the ball but his passing is alot better than our other CB's.
MORENO 6 - decent game but didn't really stand out
LUCAS 7 - good solid game
HENDERSON - 6 didn't really stand out. need to go forward more often. Was a bit annoyed at the end by his back passing.
MARKOVIC - 7 good game and wasn't too scared to be physical
GERRARD 6 - I think he played in front of markovic. Showed glimpses of his old dynamism but his long distance shooting has become a shadow of what i used to be.
COUTINHO - 7 has almost everything in his arsenal. But tries the long distance shooting, which is not his strength, a bit too much.
BORINI - 4 didn't do much

LOVREN - 4 rubbish. passes back too much.
BALOTELLI - 5 he seems to be too self conscious.

Can played as an attacking midfielder in the 2nd half and Lucas and Hendo were in the middle, you don't control midfield in the position he was playing.

CAN - 7 - like this fella a lot, think half his talent is wasted playing part of a back three

SAKHO - 7 - finally starting to get the run of games he deserves.

MARKOVIC - 8 - Surprisingly aggressive, long may it continue, my MoM
GERRARD - 7 - still oozes class
COUTINHO - 7 - undeniable skill on display again, pity he doesn't have a bomb in his boots when striking at goal.
BORINI - 6 - glimpses of skill but not enough of them.

BALOTELLI - 6 - Actually looked interested, certainly showed more class than Borini.

MINGOLET - 6 - Thought he was ok ,on Johnson shot i wasn't sure it wan't the wind playing tricks or he lost his footing.
CAN - 7 - Looked Solid although i doubt CB is his best position ,looks more comfortable going forward.
SKRTEL - 6 - Over all ok but you can just sense the hysteria in the his guy.
SAKHO - 8 - No "blackouts" today ,didn't miss a pass ,really like him and his approach to the game ,a ball should go forward.
MORENO - 6 - Ok in the pressing game ,not much involvement in the attacking play
LUCAS - 7- Had an excellent first half.
HENDERSON - 5 - A prettier version of Kuyt is in the making ,runs his socks off but ffs where is the final touch?
MARKOVIC - 7 - Showed his potential ,great runs forward but not enough  ,had many "dead" minutes and still has to work on his composure.
GERRARD - 5 - Wasted way to many chances
COUTINHO - 8 - While still need to work on his shot at goal he was the ONLY one in the 2nd half which should the will to attack and create.
BORINI - 4 - Did the hard work but failed where he must preform ,scoring in-front an empty net.

SUBS -
LOVREN - 4- Really this is our future CB? Missed tackles and horrible positioning?
BALOTELLI - 6 - Was involved and dangerous but doesn't fit the system.

Missed Lallana leadership especially in the 2nd half where we for some unclear reason against 10 man decided to defend deeper and not go for the final "kill"
