MINGOLET - 6 was better at coming out for crosses but wtf happened with Johnson's shot
CAN - 7 showed surprising speed at wb but really he should be played in CM
SKRTEL - 6 decent game
SAKHO - 7 best defender, solid

LUCAS - 7 good game, protected defence well
HENDERSON - 6 needs to understand you can pass forwards and his shooting is awful
MARKOVIC - 8 impressive, really unlucky when he hit the bar

MINGOLET - 8 that save from Benteke probably won us the 3 points
CAN - 7 played well, the defence looks much better these days

MORENO - 5 got up and down well, needs to work on his delivery into the box though
MARKOVIC - 5 not at his marauding best but nice pass in the build up to our first and some good moments defensively too.
LUCAS - 6 another solid display
HENDERSON - 6 nice assist for Borini's goal and keeps us ticking over in midfield
STERLING - 5 a bit rusty (which is to be expected) but still a threat, in fact should have really scored
COUTINHO - 6 not at his very best but still decent
BORINI - 6 nice movement for his goal but lack of awareness scuppered many other opportunities to put team mates in on goal

LAMBERT - 6 nice goal
ENRIQUE - 5 did okay
IBE - 5 not on long enough to really influence proceedings but good to see him getting some game time

Mingolet - 6 Nice stop from benteke but don't think he knew anything about it.
can - 6 good game.
skrtel - 7 did well against Benteke.
sakho - 6 getting better with regular games.
markovic - 6 could be a little better in the tackle.
moreno - 5 didnt think he was great. got caught too high up and allowed them to get at us down that side.
henderson - 4 can't believe he is our captain
lucas - 5 not his best game today but still did a job.
coutinho - 6 good game but less influence today.
Sterling - 4 another poor game, bad miss and a little whinger.
borini - 4 bound to be in the right place at the right time at some stage. did absolutely nothing after that except get in the way.

lambert - 5 good goal and much needed.
enrique - 5 did ok.
Ibe - N/A but asta la pasta fabio

can - 6 was ok but still not convinced this is his best position
skrtel - 6 did ok although lost most of the Ariel battles.

markovic - 6 lost him a bit playing a more defensive role

henderson - 6 thought he had a decent game with a great pass for goal
lucas - 7 good game
coutinho - 6 disappeared the 2nd half was super the first
Sterling - 4 poor stuff on every department decision making execution should have been subbed much sooner
borini - 4 scored so what? Almost cost us the points with poor finish ball handling and passing shouldn't be playing

enrique - 5 bizarre sub has nothing to offer over Moreno
Ibe - N/A should have played much more considering the above this lad is going to be a superstars

Mignolet - 8 He was brilliant today ,and his stop from Benteke swung the game when Villa were applying some concerted pressure.
Can - 7 - Just makes our defence look so assured with his inclusion ,he's brought more than a touch of German methodicalness to our game.   
Skrtel - 7 - Vital interceptions and got his head to just about everything Villa threw at us.
Sakho - 7 -I've been so impressed with Mamadou of late that I really should lavish some superlatives on his display ,the lad was superb earlier.   
Moreno - 6 -I love it when he bursts forward ,has all the pace in the world and looked an accomplished defender in the first half.
Markovic - 6 -I thought the lad defended really well ,its also useful having a player that can transform defence into attack with his lightening gait.
Lucas - 8, Pivotal to our new found resilience in the middle of the park.
Henderson - 7 - Perfect cross and played some beautiful cross field passes with the outside of his foot ,so much better in the middle 
Sterling - 4 - Should have rifled that chance he had into the corner of the net , instead of attempting to chip a six foot three goalkeeper     
Coutinho -5 Unusually wasteful ,and when Ibe slid him in with a perfect little pass he should have squared it across the box for Ibe to tap in.
Borini - 5 - He works tirelessly ,and you cant cast doubt on his application, but lacks any threat a striker should hold. 

Subs:
Lambert - 6,  Took his goal with real finesse ,and his drag back to create the space was quality.
Enrique - 4 ,Really confused by his introduction ,Moreno was doing enough to not be replaced ,a compete waste of a substitution. 
Ibe- 5  Lovely little through ball and showed some intelligent movement in the sparse time he was afforded.
