Manquillo - 7 Never gives less than 100%   
Skrtel -5  Too many mistakes that fortunately Madrid failed to capitalise on
Toure - 7 - He's earned a start alongside Lovren
Moreno - 6 Some brilliant whipped in crosses
Lucas - 9  Precisely why he was subbed I will never know
Can - 8 Showed enough to suggest he can be an absolute monster in the middle, once Rodgers sorts out the team best equipped to take us forward   
Allen - 4 Lost count of how many times he lost the ball 
Markovic - 6  I thought the lad showed more glimpses of potential than he has thus far
Lallana - 7 - The closest we came to a goal threat
Borini - 5 Will never be a striker to rely on ,but put in a damn good shift

Sterling - 3  Wasteful
Gerrard - 4  Madrid created more chances with his inclusion,needlessly surrendered possession by hitting a plethora of aimless 40 yard balls.

Liverpool v Chelsea

Mignolet 7 ,Made some great stops

Skrtel 7, Good game from Martin ,real battle with Costa. 
Lovren 2 ,Just what was he doing ?
Moreno 5 ,Didn't get forward enough to provide the kind of sweet crosses he supplied against Madrid. 
Gerrard 2, Played  Chelsea onside for the first goal by standing on his own goal line ,and provided nothing in the way of protection the entire game.
Henderson 2, Jordan was bad today ,I mean Gerrard bad !
Can 8, Provided room for optimism ,with an energetic performance ,and always looking to move the play forward.
Coutinho 8,Along with Emre he was our Best player ,and the most likely source of a goal. 
Sterling 6 His final ball really has to be much better ,but his strength on the ball  is amazing,looked like he could have dragged Ivanovic the length of the field even though the Serbian had half his shirt in his hands.     
Balotelli 6 ,no service whatsoever ,but rarely lost possession when on the ball.

MINGOLET - 7 another good game, unlucky with their first goal, no chance with their second
JOHNSON - 4 good first half where he made at least one crucial block but went to f**k the second, god knows where he was when Coutinho was left high and dry in the RB position for their second goal.
LOVREN - 5 okay
SKRTEL - 6 good battle with Costa
MORENO - 6 decent game, his pace saved us at the back once or twice
HENDERSON - 4 since being made vice captain he has gone in the same direction as his passing - backwards
GERRARD - 4 Chelsea players went past him like he wasn't even there (which isn't good for a DM)
CAN - 7 pick of our 3 central midfielders, scored a goal and generally played well
COUTINHO - 7.5 our best player on the day IMO
STERLING - 6 tried hard but not firing on all cylinders ATM
BALOTELLI - 6 held play up well but got little support from a toothless midfield

LOVREN - 2 ,What a Sting operation played on us! ,Poor excuse for a CB ,again lost on the pitch ,lost his assignments ,Bench him.
SKRTEL - 6 ,Was ok.
MORENO - 5 ,Too restrained ,should support attack much more.
HENDERSON - 3 ,Headless chicken ,Really looks poor this last matches ,no inspiration ,no confidence ,should be benched.
GERRARD - 3 ,Sorry Stevie it just doesn't work anymore.
CAN - 6 , Surprised me ,had some good strong runs forward .
COUTINHO - 7 ,The Boy can spin and turn ,quality!
STERLING - 6 ,Looks lost
BALOTELLI - 4 ,Lazy Prikk

GERRARD - 5 - slate me if you want, but i think hes finished at being an automatic choice
CAN - 7 - very promising player, hope he can keep up this level of play and move up a gear

STERLING - 5 - same as Hendo, form has dipped

Johnson - 3 - decent first half but quickly reverted to type
Lovren - 5 - receives no help ever
Skrtel - 6 - complete Dodge pot but tried
Moreno - 3 - so far out of his depth it's scary

Gerrard - 4 - can pass a ball, more than can be said for some
Can - 6 - slow and lacking in quality but had a go
Henderson - 2 - couldn't get near fabregas, embarrassing

Coutinho - 6 - only player who had an idea
Sterling - 4 - used wrongly again
Mario - 5 - Rodgers is making a talented player look a chump. His touch was spotless, shame the team isn't set up to get anything out of him.

mingolet 6 extra point on account of the saves but the last kick of the match summed him up.
johnson 4 alright first half but disapeared, shouldnt be playing
skrtel 6 strong and dealt with costa well for the most of it
lovren 3 yet to see anything from him, has he even had one decent game ...
moreno 5 covered a lot of ground but not enough from him
can 7 played well the big lad and should be a starter
gerrard 5 never got going at all
henderson 4 absolutely devoid of any skill
coutinho 7 the section of the crowd that booed said it all
sterling 5 struggling under the expectation and pressure placed upon him
balotelli 5 he worked very hard but still not enough to fit in

allen 3 brings nothing even less when you need a goal
borini 3 its beyond funny that he is playing
lambert 4 tried but just not working out for him
