Some pretty harsh scoring going on here  ??? , considering the importance of the match and the pressure our players must be feeling I give them all a 10 for a fooking great win :nod

Mignolet 7 - Great Save ,still need to work on his communication with his back four.
Johnson 5 - Was pretty poor on defense ,was over run by City all day long. On the plus side no critical errors.
Skrtel 9 - One of his best performance ,made some great tackles which complimented his superb goal ,well done!
Sakho 8 - fought hard to close the deep City passes,
Flanagan 7 - Held his ground well.
Gerrard 7 - Cool and in control held his position.
Henderson 6 - worked hard ,covered a lot of ground ,but should really have much more impact plays ,his sending off was pretty terrible.
Coutinho 9 - MOTM ,played with no fear when others felt the pressure ,defended well ,tackled scratched and fought ,superb goal and ball movement.
Sterling 8 - Excellent ,such a not typical goal from so calm and composed ,had some excellent runs forward ,declined 2nd half when pressure mounted.
Suarez 6 - excellent play for the first goal ,but was overall occupied with himself ,looked nervous and at times a real liability ,should calm down quickly.
Sturridge 5 - same as Suarez but with less participation and no impact plays ,should regroup and refocus.

Subs:
Allen 7 - fits well into the system and will fill in easily instead of hendo
Moses - not enough time ,but proved his damage when he lost the ball which led to Hendo's silly foul.

Handling the pressure of success isn't going to be easy but i trust BR and Stevie to supply the required leadership.

Mignolet - 6 - one good save but never looked in command.
Johnson - 5 - has been improving lately but poor yesterday, maybe it was the quality of the opposition ?
Skrtel - 7 - Scores again !
Sakho - 6 - would have given a 7 if it wasn't for the reckless challenge that by rights should have given City a penalty.
Flanagan - 7 - another good performance from the lad.
Gerrard - 8 - kept his head when at times others were losing theirs.
Henderson - 6 - ok,ish.
Coutinho - 8 - excellent, really stepped up for this one.
Sterling - 8 - the composure he showed when scoring his goal was outstanding.
Suarez - 7 - some great touches but by his standards slightly disappointing, mentally he wasn't "all there" yesterday.
Sturridge - 5 - poor, can't remember him doing anything of note, other than taking the ball on when the world was screaming for him to pass it .

Subs:
Allen - 7 - job well done.

I hardly payed a lot of attention to how the players performed but here's what I think:

Mignolet - 6 - a game of ups and downs. A few good saves but also a lot of sloppy moments
Johnson - 5
Skrtel - 8 - defended well and wasn't at fault for the goals. Scored one himself as well
Sakho - 7 - solid defensively and his distribution was fantastic
Flanagan - 6
Gerrard - 7 - very good first half and although not so good second he still tried his best
Henderson - 6
Coutinho - 8 - fantastic first half but faded in the second. Scored the winner though, so he's my MOTM
Sterling - 8 - nice goal and was pretty much unplayable in the first half. Understandably faded a bit in the second
Suarez - 6 - good assist but a frustrating game. Should stop trying to win decisions and concentrate on the football
Sturridge - 5

Subs:
Allen - 7

Mignolet - 7 -
Johnson - 7
Skrtel - 9 - eight goals this season. Multiple interceptions and blocks.
Sakho - 8
Flanagan - 8
Gerrard - 10 - stunning performance
Henderson - 8.5
Coutinho - 9 -
Sterling - 9 - matured so much this season.
Suarez - 8.5 - De Michelis did well, he was clearly asked to man mark him.
Sturridge - 7

Subs:
Allen - 7

Rodgers - 10. We we're playing one of the most expensive sides ever assembled, a fantastic team. People on here dreamed of signing Dzeko, Toure, Aguero, Silva etc. etc. etc. We couldn't afford any of them yet we matched them toe to toe yesterday. Great performance, great win and on we go.

Mignolet - 6  Huge mistake not letting Skrtel clearing and staying on the line. Still showed how good he is at stopping the ball.
Johnson - 3 - Awful, enough said.
Skrtel - 9 - Just keeps on getting in the way. Was huge and a real warrior out there.
Sakho - 8 - Does what it says on the label. A central defender. Physical, good in the air. As long as him and Skrtel doesn't start passing it too much in the backline...
Flanagan - 7 Surprised how well he does out there with his lack of pace. Tries to make the right decisions. - for his involvement in the 2nd goal for Norwich.
Gerrard - 7 - Protects the back 4 and has exceptional passing range.
Lucas  - 4 - Just off the pace and not getting much done
Allen - 6 - Started brightly but soon ran out of steam. Norwich dominated him and Lucas for long spells.
Coutinho - 5 - As usual with him. Blows hot and cold from game to game. Sometimes Invicible and not involved enough, which he needs to be offensivly.
Sterling - 10 - Yeah, he gets a 10. He was the reason we won, simple as.
Suarez - 8 - Well, he had the right intent today. Hungry and deadly. Would have liked to see more but got very little service except when Sterling was in the attack.

Subs:
Agger - 6 - Did well enough
Moses - 5 - Never does well enough

Rodgers - 9 - Had the right gameplan, used to best players available and got the result.

Mignolet - 5 - Bottled it for the punch but made some great saves
Johnson - 4 - Erm
Skrtel - 7
Sakho - 7
Flanagan - 6 - Should learn to jump for the ball not stand there waiting for it to hit your head
Gerrard - 7
Lucas  - 4 - awful miss and you just know he will give stupid free kicks away in dangerous positions
Allen - 7
Coutinho - 6
Sterling - 9 - MOM, can't believe this is the same player from the beginning of the season
Suarez - 8

Mignolet - 6 ,same strength same weakness ,at fault for the goal (although was fouled) and a great save ,some of decisions are shady it's legal to kick the ball to the stands lad every now and then.
Johnson - 5 - if he offers nothing to our attacking game he is just an accident waiting to happen ,lost some ball in critical positions and wasn't able to stop anything coming his way.
Skrtel - 8 - Beast ,such an enforcer .can't believe i wanted to deport him from the country.
Sakho - 7 - Another Solid game ,had a lot to handle and in most cases did well. His passing is superb.
Flanagan - 7 - such an intelligent lad ,we forget he plays out of his natural position ,built the 2nd goal ,could have done better their 2nd ,was nudged a bit but should have reacted better.
Gerrard - 6 - was OK but not commending ,was part of our weakest links which was the central defensive line.
Lucas  - 5 - Poor ,Old Lucas ,unnecessary fouls ,not present and the topping on the cake was his terrible miss
Allen - 7 - Good Game ,energetic and very mobile
Coutinho - 6 - dosed off today ,really need him for the rest of the season
Sterling - 9 - MOTM
Suarez - 7 - Not much support.

Subs:
Agger - 6
Moses - 6

Johnson - 5
Skrtel - 7 - good game. Conceded 2 but not his fault
Sakho - 6
Flanagan - 6
Gerrard - 7 - sometimes looks like the only one able to pass the damn ball
Lucas - 5 - made a few good tackles but overall poor
Allen - 6 - energetic, nice pressing and good in the link-up but can't protect the back 4.
Coutinho - 6
Sterling - 8 - MOTM
Suarez - 7

Mignolet - 4 - Woeful again

Johnson - 1 - One of the worst performances I've ever seen from a Liverpool player.
Skrtel - 6 - Not great but wasn't helped by having to play right back as well, he's not even really good enough to play in his own position let alone have to play in two!
Sahko - 6 - Used the ball well and was generally pretty good, one or two dodgy moments.
Flannagan - 6 - Good on the ball and going forward, won a few tackles, occasionally rash though and bit off defensively.

Gerrard - 6 - Distributed it well and was superb for the spells we were on top, tired in the second half badly.
Lucas - 3 - A nothing performance.
Allen - 6 - Started superbly but faded badly.
Coutinho - 6 - Good passing and movement as always, tried his again but just couldn't get himself into the game.

Suarez - 7 - Was a menace all game and took his goal well.
Sterling - 9 - Two superb goals (deserved luck for the second) and generally a pest for Norwich without, quickly becoming one of our best players along with Coutinho and Gerrard.

Mignolet - 5, Great stop for Van Wolswinkels downward header ,but he's less than the commanding stopper we need.
Johnson - 0, How the manager continually picks him week after week ,is truly the greatest enigma I've witnessed at this club.
Skrtel - 7 I thought he done well alongside Sakho ,but its definitely not a partnership which inspires any confidence.
Sakho - 6 When he brings the ball out of defence he gives me a case of the 'Heebie Jeebies' so severe that not even necking 2
packs of 'Imodium Plus' could quell my twitching arse..... Agger please.
Flanagan - 6 The lad was good in the first half and then his game deteriorated completely, but he's been brilliant of late so he
can easily be forgiven.
Gerrard - 8 I thought he was the most comfortable and poised player we had on the ball ,but he was overrun in the second half
and along with the rest of our disjointed midfield dropped back far too deep than could be considered comfortable.
Lucas  - 5 Played out of position ,but broke up play effectively in the first half ,second half he was abysmal and gave away far too
many free kicks
Allen - 8 Joe was our best player albeit from Sterling and gave us the energy usually provided by Henderson ,however faded too much
to be a threat.
Coutinho - 6 Not his best game ,and was sacrificed for Moses
Sterling 9,His game is maturing all the time ,and the speed of thought that led to his second was the lad suddenly realising his own potential.
Suarez - 8 Twisted and turned and took his goal well ,but his lay offs that are usually so succinct where way short of his usual qualiy

Mingolet - 7  Decent performance, made a couple of good saves and surprisingly looked assured under the high ball. Left high and dry for both goals.
Flanno - 5. Decent enough without being spectacular
Sakho - 7. Had a tough battle with Ba but generally came out on top, not at fault for any of the goals
Skrtel - 7.  Same as Sakho, didn't do much wrong
Johnson - 5. Same as Flanno, struggled to break through Chelsea's back line but so did everyone
Lucas - 4.  Pedestrian and one paced
Gerrard - 4.  Mistake cost us the game
Allen - 7. Worked hard and was the best of the midfielders
Sterling - 5. Tried hard but found it difficult against a packed defence
Suarez - 5. Same as Raheem, frustrated by Chelsea's tactic of flooding their own box with defenders
Coutinho - 5. lively in the first half but faded in the second as his passing became sloppy

Mignolet - 5 - Wasn't to bad apart from the first goal. Shot went through him.

Johnson - 0 - Disgrace to the shirt.
Skrtel - 6 - Wasn't bad, defended well against Ba.
Sahko - 7 - Was excellent through out.
Flannagan - 6 - Didn't put a foot wrong but couldn't really influence the play.

Gerrard - 7 - Mistake aside played well, tried his best to atone for the error.
Lucas - 4 - Typical nothing performance.
Allen - 5 - Tried but didn't have a good game.
Coutinho - 6 - Faded badly, wasted possession after a bright start.

Sterling - 6 - Always trying to make things happen, just didn't have that extra bit of quality.
Suarez - 5 - Tried his best but nothing was coming off, still our most likely goal threat.

Subs -

Sturridge - 3 - Awful, hardly had a touch and stupidly lost the ball for the last goal.
Aspas - 1 - Won a tackle amoung giving it away every other time he had it.

Rodgers - 0 - Naive and predictable. Anyone with half a clue could have seen that coming today and he should have set us up not to get beat. Did not learn from the game at their ground. Must learn his lesson.
