Understandable really considering clean sheets was our signature under Raffa until this year. Maybe he is happy that finally we are sorting out the defense. Had we kept as many clean sheets this year as this time last year we would be in much better shape. Obviously Rafa recognizes this.

Thought it was only keane he signed ? Could be totally wrong like.
But he has spent a shedload i agree with that.
Over recent times one of the luckiest managers in football regarding being at a club with money to spend.

True, I did...
However, what baffles me is how Rafa sees to think a clean sheet is somehow a redeeming factor.....when in fact that Lee bloke strolled past a half-hearted tackle from Aquilani, half the length of the pitch, and only for a leg stuck out by Zorba, we would have been embarassed by,errr, Bolton !
Ditto for Wolves during the week....
I'm frustrated by Rafa more than anything, not being negative.

I think the timing of the approach has been perfect for Rafa and he's using it to his advantage. It's a reminder that he's still considered one of the best managers in the world, sought after by major European clubs.

Everytime the going becomes tough for benitez...he gives a call to his agent and bam...he is going to Real madrid (their fans will really gonna love the football played under benitez  ), inter, juventus......etc ....etc

But....looking at the bigger picture....the italian league will be perfect for Mr charismatic. Slow.....tactical play with each team more interested in neutralizing the other team.....

"Contrary to reports in the Italian media this weekend, I want to make it absolutely clear I have no agreement with Juventus and have not and will not be meeting Juventus or their representatives or any other club," said the Liverpool manager.

"I have a long term contract with Liverpool and I'll repeat what I said on Friday that I am happy here and my only focus is to do my job as well as I can to get the team back into to the top four, beginning with the derby against Everton."

Do you really think he wants to stay at Anfield ? All this trust in Rafa is just that, .

He is like the vast majority of people in football, motivated purely by personal gain. He doesn't care about Liverpool, our history or us. He cares about Rafa.

He will leave when it suits him and not us. Don't blame the yanks either, he has been given ample money but spent it badly.

I fear for the future,
