I think that was the the last straw for the board myself

Jamie redknapp talks sh!te , just like his father . Gerrard and Torres will be off make no mistake . Not because of Rafa , but because of lack of investment . Get used to it .

From the conversation i have just had its only a matter of time Igor , well for Steven anyway,im well and truly in tears and disheartend with what i have just been told,

Dont worry though for anyone who wants to go and watch us . cause ill guarentee anyone whos looking for a ticket next season will be able to just walk up to the window sales and purchace one there ,
HE WHO BETRAYS WILL ALWAYS WALK ALONE

marcello lippi is free after the world cup. Now we could a lot worse than him. He would bring us stability and would get the respect of all our foreign and english Players anyone agree?

I'd be chuffed but I think we're going to be fairly limited given our financial straits
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

God Bless You All

Well, where is he off to lass? I cant imagine it would be outside of Chelsea or Real Madrid?

May as well hear the bad news and get used to it.

:D I got to wait 30 seconds because of flood control. And try to minimize the thank you buy typing all the thank you in one post please.  :p Unless you want to build up your reply count.  :alien:

THANK YOU RAFA BENITEZ !

take it easy man!

Anyhow we had some good memories with rafa.. Thanks for the champs league and making us one of europes feared teams bar last season.

Actually, I was trying to be sarcastic and didn't really mean to tell him to stop. But I guess I failed in that regard haha. But it would look awesome with a single post that can occupy a whole page just with "Thank You Rafa" in it. So, Zarababe, you might want to try that. Cheers mate.

No actually - you don't 'get it .. in it' - Enuff recriminations, this honourable man has now GONE - Been pushed, to allow the crooks gather around their put and destroy our club further, without the threat of being exposed..

So some ppl on here need reminding of that fact.. instead of the disgraceful bickering that continues in this 'disgraceful thread'.

That on a day like this you think I want to push up my 'post count' just shows you don't know who I am and how long I have been on these pages matey.. 'in it' .

THANK YOU RAFA BENITEZ !

This is too hard to take. He deserved better than this despite his recent horrible season. Goodbye Rafa and thank you for everything!

Was actually myself that had this opinion - that is until nearing the end of the season and in the game against Atletico when I looked at the bench and saw our options. We're 3-5 players short. Anyone who's thinking we're gonna be back up there next season scrapping for the league is fooling themselves. We're in a dogfight for 5/6th again this season, and 4th if we're really lucky. There's also the lovely posibillity that Mascherano, Torres, Gerrard or one or two fringe players could leave. We thought Souness was the dark days? Brace yourselves.

spot on red,at the moment anyone who thinks we automatically will improve next year just cos we have a new man at the helm ain't looking at the big picture.
i expect us to end up with someone like rh or mon or worse klinnsman or zola.
im willing to bet we will lose torres, gerrard, masch, benni soon as the wc ends.then the new yes man will be given 20 or 30 mil out of it to rebuild a squad.the rest will pay off some of the debt allowing them two yankers to remain here for several more years.
we will never be rid of them just like the glazers they aint movin!!!

Don't tell me your take the word of a Sky Sports brown nose like Jamie as gospel. There is absolutely no f*cking proof whatsoever that Gerrard and Torres had anything to do with Rafa's sacking, and if they did, then they should be sold as soon as. Let's wait and see when it all comes out.

Yer I will take the word of someone who's a mate of SG and talks with him a lot.
SG and Torres will give us at least next season to see what happens over the sale of the club and what investment is made on the team.
Its to easy to forget just how bad Rafas performance actually was last season.
As bad as I've ever seen at Anfield

You want to bet on that? Gerrard's gone and Redknapp is full of balls. Always was, always will be.

Again, another one who wants to re-write history according to them. As bad as this season was, it pales to 1992 when we were sitting 15th in the league...in April of that season. We miraculously finished 6th.
