FFS - I've seen some breast beating, flag waving, hand wringing in my time but this sentimental cr@p over Benitez is something else.

The problem is John Bull its who's doing the hiring and the firing, none of them have got a footballing brain between them and the one who made the decision purs-low is from a fecking hedge Fund bank, who was brought in to SELL the club.
He should be sacked because he hasnt done his job either.

I have no confidence in this board to make the correct decisions for the future of this club. They have sacked Rafa because they are looking for a cheaper alternative if that does NOT set alarm bells ringing between our fans I dont know what will.

Just got off the flight from Singapore to see this news.

Unbelieveable and a further indication of how much trouble the club is in.

Cronic owners, doubtful CEO, doubtful MD, no manager or backroom staff and a weak squad.

They have sacked Rafa because they are looking for a cheaper alternative if that does NOT set alarm bells ringing between our fans I dont know what will.

I don't buy that Lynds, by the time you throw in the compo they will have to pay Rafa (a few reports indicating it will be more than the original £3 mill being bandied around, am sure that's just the starting figure in negotiations) then the new man is hardly going to be a cheaper alternative. It's far more likely they want him out of the way because a/ they can sell a couple of players to raise some capital and b/ we were shocking last season and they don't think he can do the job going forward.

Who's buying the club with Gerrard and Torres here Lee. There feckin knocking the door down aren't they . Listen mate,the yanks want there pound of flesh , the banks want there money back . Who in there right mind is going to attempt to buy the club now at this asking price and build a feckin stadium . Gillett and Hicks are Leverage buyout specialists, if they don't sell the club now for what they are asking .They will asset strip the club and get there money that way . THIS IS THE WAY THEY WORK AND ALWAYS HAVE WORKED . What would make you think they would treat LFC any differently mate .
