It was sod's law that we let Keane go and within the space of a week or so of him going, Gerrard and Torres both got injured. It was inevitable.

And nobody can tell me that Keane wouldn't have converted at least one of the chances we created against Boro.

As for tonight the talk is that Sunderland will actually go 4-4-2 which probably helps us in a way. If they played a 5 in there we'd struggle as we normally do against packed defences.

It won't be pretty but I'll go for a 2-0 win.

well, i guess masch would make a better fist of it than skrtel, and i don't remember too many eyebrows being raised when essien, probably chelsea's most dangerous midfielder, was playing a number of games at right back. and at least it will leave space for lucas to start in midfield. than fúck for that...

I thought he did well there late on against Middlesbrough. Best cross of the day anyway. We shouldn't need two defensive players in the middle against Sunderland.

This may come back to haunt me, but I think he will do a good job there. Just feel very sorry for Darby, he must feel like sh!t at the moment, if they will play a midfield player and a CB instead of him. FFS its Sunderland at home..... not Madrid.

It's begining to look like we don't really rate Derby. I must confess I know very little about him so I have no opinion really. If I was him though, I'd probs be getting me agent to circulate my name around a few clubs.

feel the same. he's currently 5th choice behind Arby, degan, carra and skrtel. He cant be that bad. And these are games against Middlesborough and sunderland, not utd and madrid...... I say play Darby!!
