looks like Gerrard is ok to go "However, Rafa Benitez will again be without Fernando Torres, Alvaro Arbeloa and Daniel Agger when Ricky Sbragia's side visit Anfield. "

Seems strange there is no mention of Aggers injury. Is it his back or has he just got Rafa's back up  :D

GERRARD AND TORRES INJURY LATEST

Steven Gerrard looks set to face Sunderland on Tuesday despite hobbling out of the 2-0 defeat to Middlesbrough.
The skipper suffered cramp during the closing stages at the Riverside but trained alongside his teammates this morning.

However, Rafa Benitez will again be without Fernando Torres, Alvaro Arbeloa and Daniel Agger when Ricky Sbragia's side visit Anfield.

The gaffer told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Stevie was okay and will hopefully be available tomorrow.

"Torres is not ready yet. We have to wait to see how he progresses but he won't be in the squad.

"Arbeloa has a problem with his hamstring. He's had the problem before. It could be another week."

I genuinely have no idea how this game will go, if Torres is definately out then who will score goals is the worry.
There isnt even anyone in the reserves that you could think...just give him a go and he might surprise you.
I like the look of Pacheco but he is more of the creative second striker than your natural goalscorer, i dont think he has scored more than one for the reserves.

So looks like we have Dirk, Ryan or Ngog, and then we cross everything that someone steps up  :(

Do you think so? You dont think it is a handicap to come fourth and have to play 2 preliminary rounds where there is no seeding?

if we finish 4th. there would be one round of qualifying against one of the following teams: 4th place La Liga and Serie A, 3rd place France and Germany, Dynamo Moscow,  2nd  place from Greece, Scotland, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Holland, Portugal, Belgium, or Czech Republic.

Prob will tho result gotta be win as say every week but if we don't start winning next few games we might even find it hard to get in CL.

As for tony going on about that plane crash you ever lost any one close to you ?

Cos they sort of remark makes you sound pretty souless and a right cu.nt tbh.  :veryangry
because nothing short of another plane crash is going to derail Utd from winning the title

"cast iron" shout for a penalty turned down

more likely a dodgy decision for a throw in given as a penalty the way our luck has been going this season

yeah but he had loads of cash to spend and more when he got to prem and what has that done for the club now ?

He been better to build the team slower , now the club has almost blown all there TV money and are finding it hard.
