And he will play Sissoko, Alonso and Gerrard in midfield.

He has no other choice if he wants to match up.

The only question is who will playup with Zenden. Cisse and Crouch? Garcia and Crouch? Pongo and Cisse?

Id play Cisse and Garcia behind him in a formation that looks like this

----Gerrard------Alonso------Sisoko-----Zenden

--------------Garcia
---------------------------Cisse

Gerrard on the right as you need a strong player for Rooney

Fergie has a bunch of pacey players so he will surely try to challenge our back 4 on pace. Traore saved us with a couple of last ditch tackles behind Hyypia's back in spain and will have to cover his back on sunday as well.

do you have something against hyypia or what?

get off the guy's back ffs. he's been absolutely exemplary in all of our league games this season. infact the defence as a whole have been outstanding.

I doubt Zendedn will play. I expect Riise to start as he also was rested against Betis.

i don't know why, but i have a feeling that rafa will choose hamann instead of sissoko for this game, mainly due to his experience.

then u do know why, its due to his experience :p

id play hamman as well, experience means a lot in these games and with the midfield they have we wont need sissoko as much

as for up front, id start off with cisse, and bring on crouch 60 minutes in if needed. risse on the wing, maybe pongolle on the otehr

I would like to field the following team for the Manure game:

                     Reina

Finnan  Carragher  Hyypia  Warnock

Pongolle  Sissoko  Gerrard  Riise

            Cisse  Crouch

SUBS: Carson, Alonso, Hamann, Garcia, Zenden/Josemi.

Putting Alonso on the bench purely because this could be a potentially physical and rough game. Might throw Garcia and Alonso on if need creativity.

I can smell a crazy 5-0 win for the Pool this Sunday.

And Rooney sent off again.

Remember where you seen it first.......so get down to your bookies and place the bet...

Liverpool to win 5-0...around 100/1
And Rooney to be sent off...around 5/1

Place it as a double......
Thats £10 double....

Returns   £6060

Easy :D

Sissoko must play-his attacking link up play is really coming on and he will test the temprement of smith with his in your face style- for me I would have alonso gerrard + risse making up the MF- we need risse to meet ronaldo high up the pitch we gave him all the room in the world last year and got punished every time- we need to hit him hard and early it fazes him- so if risse dosnte get him warnock can-

Bring finnen back in and play crouch n cisse up front

Cant believe the bookies odds we are 7/4 them 5/4 well worth a punt lads

Im no great lover of these early kick offs it takes a bit of the pre match atmosphere away- but I will still be in the ground early- 2-0 at HT 3-0 FT
