Voronin and Babel need to start more, they're the players in form, and in form players should get the nod

Babel? ???

yep totally agree but so should mascharano who is our second best midfielder behind gerrard :buttrock  :buttrock

So Alonso wasn't the MOTM then?

If you always give the nod to the form players, Alonso is in that catagory...

Mate, I know you're a Xabi fan, but to be fair all our mids are bang on form. Is that not a good thing, no? Alonso can't get MOTM every match!

Some room for improvements still,

1. Babel. Goal aside he was quite awful.
2. Kuyt. Wasteful
3. Torres. Goes down a bit too easily at times. Not a good passer.
4. Finnan. Only got down to support when the score is 2-0
5. Some easy chances for derby at the end. They could have scored 2.

Mascherano is tremendous. Should get the nod over Sissoko.

A good win against poor opponents. The best thing about the result is that more and more people are starting to sit up and take notice. We have made a statement.

Cracking result and despite the manner of the win ie Derby were sh1 te, we took plenty of chances and last season I reckon it might have been 1-0 or 2-0 given the same opposition and chances. OK the defending was poor and they never tested us, but I'm happy that they were that easy to beat as we've got some confidence, improved our GD and played Derby while they are still finding their feet. We've got four away games in September and only Brum at home so we should need to up our level of performance. I certainly can't see Pompey, Porto and Wigan being that accommodating on their own patch.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

This is an exciting ride I dont want to end.

Fantastic display by the Reds, they looked like the Reds of old.

Ruthlesness was all we needed and we got that on Saturday, long may it continue.  :buttrock

dont you thoin there is a real team spirit about us now and hunger, as soon as we lose the ball there hunting the ball down and winning it back, this is the one thig that has impressed me so far, nearly as much as rafa's designer goat-ay!! :D
