Not sure if he does any lurking over here mate and he is still posting regularly over at 'LFC Reds'.

Least a few have actually grown the balls to come out and say what they're thinking instead of saying it without actually saying it.

Made u feel uncomfortable? Because Kenny basically told the truth? That he didnt see the 'handshake'? Or that shreeves went on th offensive with his "i'm tellin you...." cr@p? then blamed suarez for any half time incidents completely overlookin th fact evra went out to cripple th guy but got ferdinand instead? Some ppl here are very strange, t say the least. This is a man that genuinely believes if the clubs better without him he wont need tellin an will do th deed alone. an it wont be because some ppl on an internet chat forum with either short memories, no knowledge of history or a serious lack of patience an decency want him out. when i voted i think it was 13 or 14 said yes - i expected a couple but not that many. shocked an disappointed.

any manager that came here january '11 an then had torres walk out with just 2-3 days t replace him, mereilles want out on the verge of th end of the next window, lose his captain (and historically most important player of the last decade or so) followed by the most improved player in the squad for most of the season and then compounded by the Suarez cr@p as well would have his work cut out. To then, at least up to the last wknd anyway, still be in with a shout of 4th (i'v not given up even now tbh), win one trophy - Mickey Mouse or not - and be 1 game from another Wembley appearance would be classed as fair if not success by most standards. I dont go for the 'most standards aint OUR standards' as we aint been in any position to set standards for a while now - but i do think we got lucky the day Roy was got rid of and Kenny came back. For that alone he deserves to see his contract out. We were borderin on relegation an not lookin to improve under Roy, whereas even with the poor results of late we've still been performin in most games way better than results would suggest. FFS we've spent many games here cursin th woodwork, cursin poor finishin an shakin our heads as to why we aint got more points if we're honest.

We have basically 2 ways to go. We stand by the original 3 year contract and see where we are (or at least where we're headed a fair bit further in), taking a similar path t that manc lot or we go chelsea's way and take another manager. Be careful what you wish for ppl, plenty more Roys out there......
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

as you can see started the thread and the reson i did so was due to the amount of posts in the game thread saying we needed a change in manager.
I was sure this was only a view of one or two members but going by the poll i was wrong.

I will say again that my own view is that kenny should stay and i voted no.

but i did feel there was a needed to open this thread and some things that had been said in the game thread needed to be heard  by other members so they got to have their say.

I've got no issues whatsoever the way Kenny handled the Suarez-Evra Saga. I'm actually fully behind how he handled it. That's how LFC managers should fight back not sit on the fence like Hodgson. If this happened to SAF, you think he would have done any less than Kenny in supporting his player? He would boycott the media for eternity and that's why the media are afraid of him now...

My concern with Kenny is purely footballing matters...

The knee-jerk element of supporters represented on this forum is worrying.

So many on here harp on about a results driven business yet where was that rhetoric when Benitez came in. Our league form under Benitez was dire for the first season. Lest we forget Benitez did not qualify the club for the CL through a qualifying league position until summer 2006.

2004/05 - 5th (W17-D7-L14) CL qualification courtesy of previous Houllier managed season
2005/06 - 3rd (W25-D7-L6) CL qualification courtesy of UEFA rule change for cup holders

Fundamentally new managers need time and Kenny deserves time. In the short space of time he has been here he has reversed the suicidal form we had under Hodgson, he has won our first trophy since 2006 and we still have a shot at the FA Cup. Quite frankly anyone calling for his head now should realise they are not welcome at the club. No respect will be given for such stupid opinions that quite frankly are damaging and only serve to destabilise the club from within.

When Dalglish was appointed the biggest worry for me was that he would be beyond reproach no matter how he performed.

I think part of the reason he didnt get the job before was because no matter how bad it got the owners simply would not be able to remove him without crippling their own relationship with the supporters.

The situation we have is unhealthy and frankly would not be afforded to any other manager and that to me is wrong.

Dalglish will be given more time, but my concern is that he could pretty much do anything with this team without any pressure being applied because of who he is.

The difference is that Kenny had half a season to prepare before his first full season. So his summer signings should go along way in improving the team. And I'm sure if we finish 5th and win the FA cup there will be very very few supporters raising the alarm.

PS your last sentence... Seriously? You sound like one of those feckin tyrannical socialist/communist regimes...

Half a season! The state we were in after Hodgson, Kenny deserves a f*cking medal just for recovering anything from that season. He answered a call for help and was rewarded with a contract.

For me Kenny will be judged from this season onwards. This season we have a achieved, sure we have achieved as much as we had liked but no one can argued we have achieved. I have read some absolute tripe on here recently about how we are moving backwards - and you wonder why I wrote my last sentence in the previous post?

I voted no as I think Kenny needs some more time.  It hasnt been easy for him taking over the mess that Roy left behind and having Torres walk out on us.  We've hardly been able to field our strongest 11 since he has been in charge.

I will be honest though and admit that our league form is nowhere near good enough and its becoming a real worry now that the team in 15th is almost closer to us than Newcastle.

When he first took over, Kenny had us playing some beautiful football and we had a great finish to last season.  This season we looked decent early on, we were very hard to beat and creating a lot of chances.  (although finishing was poor).

Unfortunately 2012 has been a complete disaster in the PL so far.  Missing Lucas and the whole Suarez thing has taken its toll.

Kenny needs to start making a few ruthless decisions on players like Carroll, Adam and Downing and he needs to get the balance of the front 5 players right.  Every week the attacking players are different and it cant be helping.

Mate you know what's the sad part about all of this mate, some idiotic lfc fan on twitter started a Kenny out campaign and urge others to join in a march before the derby game, unfortunately this campaign was trending in Liverpool. It's bloody ridiculous that some of our fans are actually agreeing with this, it shows how the level of LFC supporters dropped down and we are fast becoming like Chelsea and Blackburn fans showing no support

I am shocked that 30% of this forums members would like to see him sacked.
i see that the press are picking up on it now, Kenny dont need the job, he is doing this out of love for the club. I can see him walking if the fans start to turn on him.

Well lakes, threads like this don't help.

After all it was you who informed others on here that journos and media the media alike scrounge around on teams' forums looking for news and run with such 'thinkings' in mainstream media.

Even before this thread was started I would of guess at 30% of members here were fools. No surprise, what surprises me is the new lows they set.

again the point of the theard was to show other members that dont post in the game thread all the time what was being said by some members.

and yes the media do look at the forum and i hope they see that most of us are happy to have kenny as our manager.
