Kenny back? - Kenny dalglish to rejoin liverpool

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It was actually season 1978-79 when Liverpool were going for 3 European cups on the trot.  Forest were a bit of a bogey team back in the late 70's.  We were robbed in the league cup final replay in '78 when the referee gave a penalty to Forest.  Tommy Smith had a right cut off the ref after the game.  A verbal lashing like that against the referee would have you before the F.A. and a suspension nowadays.

Two seasons out, not bad for a 3 year old.

I can only see the club bringing Kenny back to appease the supporters if they decide to stick with Houllier.

To bring Kenny back would be a step backwards, he was one of the best players ever to pull the proud red shirt over his head. But any manager who signed david speedie and jimmy carter and played garry ablett in a Liverpool team should not be entrusted to take us on from the sad position we find we in at the moment. Times have changed the games moved on so must we. :O

I agree...I don't think Dalglish will be offered any management position.
Carter was a joke, but Speedie didn't do too bad;we've certainly had a lot more money wasted over the last few years on lame ducks.
