For the sake of simply going on record Kewell ...Yes I believe he did what the vast majority of fans who rightly believed the club had been
so wronged wanted to happen ,especially as the groundswell of FA sycophants fully expected the club to be far more subservient .

I personally love the way Liverpool as a club refuse to conform to an ideology that all the shit house rats in the Media  expect
clubs and fans to fall neatly into place behind ...You don't see it ,but that's OK, so in an all too familiar way  this argument has
already run its course .

Anyway our respective opinions differ on a plethora of issues ,So for that reason I hardly see the point in prolonging yet another tedious debate .

We had the high moral ground and still have it.
Unfortunately when you are dealing with a sly cu'nt like Evra, a scheming tw@t such as purple nose, a deceitful and racist group such as the FA, a gang of hypocritical gobsh'ites such as this countrys media, hysterical black ex players and the ignorant "man in the street" with a bias against LFC it is almost impossible to get a fair shake.
I personally did not like the Suarez T shirt situation as I knew the backlash that would come from the honorable and truthful media. The club got it wrong if their aim was to justify their support of Suarez through a publicity stunt. Lets hope they have learnt from these mistakes in case something like this happens again. Though I doubt that the ingerdients for the "perfect sh'it storm" will come about again any time soon

We had the moral high ground because Suarez was and is not racist, and said nothing racist. Unfortunatly we were not deceitful and conniving and did not realise that being honest and loyal would not work with an amoral media, FA and club.

This season are allready lost, so no point to change Kenny, even his signings are poor...

Surely these are logical reasons for Kenny to be replaced at the end of the season?

Don't get me wrong, I want Kenny to remain as our manager, but a vast majority of his signings so far haven't hit the ground running and what makes that worse is that Carroll, Downing and Henderson cost a combined £71m.

Carroll has scored just 3 goals all season, that's one more than Martin Skrtel.

Jordan Henderson has been inconsistent and times appears to be struggling to find any rhythm, then again he is being played out of position at RM. Stewart Downing has been ineffective on either flank for us this season. Can anyone tell me how many assists he has made (if any)?

You could argue that Kenny should have signed better players and I agree, I don't think any of his signings have been overally impressive this season. Enrique and Suarez started off well, but seem to have gone off the boil. Suarez's last goal came against Brighton in the 6-1 win.

I think Kenny should be given another season to show that we can make real progress, but I fear that we'll end up signing a Nigel Reo-Coker instead of a Javi Martinez, but I do think that for all Kenny has done for the club he deserves another transfer window and another season to put things. If at the end of next season there hasn't been signs of real progress in the League, then I will agree that he should step aside.

My biggest fear is that we'll become another Chelsea, one poor season and the manager is out the door - as a club wanting sustained success, this cannot happen if there isn't stability at the club, a constant change in management doesn't equate to stability and that is why Ambramovich's Chelsea adventure has been somewhat of a failure.

what did kenny do wrong? all he did was defend the club and his player, just like every other manger would do in the same situation.
do you actually support this club? all you seem to do is have sly digs at the club, manager and players.

I voted no. Look at the way we have played and no one can say we have been poor. You can say we have missed a hell of a lot of chances and are set to win the seasons "woody" award by a mile, but in many games we have played really well, our finishing is the only down side, but that has been the case for years.

And the players he has signed are under question, why? at the time when we signed them they were sought after players carrying good reputations. How the bloody hell could we know that a majority of them would fail? Henderson, Adam, Carroll and Downing all failed to get off to a good start. Carroll has recently begun performing as well as Downing but they haven't performed well, and in fairness how could Kenny know that at the time we signed them they would all struggle?

So no, we shouldn't sack him, we should show some patience and not become plastics like the chavs.

I thought Adam started the season in good form and has been pretty solid for the most part. He was never going to be a World-beater by any stretch of the imagination, but him and Lucas certainly looked solid together in midfield this season.

Carroll and Downing are just lame ducks in attack at the moment, Carroll despite doing well isn't scoring and Downing seems to have little or no end product.

Hell yes! He did what every manager does, defends and supports his player in the time of need. The dissapointing part of the saga is that we did not go ahead with our initial statement, that is all

I thought the Suarez situation was handled badly and reflected badly on the club, hence why Standard Chartered got involved in the saga. Kenny post match interview after our 2-1 defeat to Manchester United was embarrassing to say the least, but at least his heart was in the right place.

Chelsea have the right idea, they issued a club statement, Villas-Boas offered his support and nothing has been uttered by Chelsea since, that's what we should have done. I'd also say that not appealing against the ban on Suarez pretty much signalled our acceptance of the guilty verdict, after all that fight I was pretty disappointed with such a surrender, but there you go...

why was it embarrassing? glen johnson came out recently and gave his thoughts on what happened during the handshake saga and i wouldnt be surprised if that was the general feeling throughout our dressing room at the time, kenny has left the dressing room to face the media and just fought our corner. whats embarrassing about that?
whats more embarrassing is when ferguson has the gall to call torres a diver after a game were nani puts in an virtuoso acting performance that spencer tracy would have been proud of and when the media confronts roy with his comments he starts waffling on about what a lovable rogue `sir` alex is.
kenny was just doing what he has always done, he`s always stuck up for this club, through some very bad times too.

It was embarrassing because Kenny went on the defensive, even though he had no clue what had happened between Evra and Suarez at the start of proceedings. His attitude towards Geoff Shreeves made me feel uncomfortable.

For me, the club should have issued the statement, Kenny should have said he and the club are backing Suarez to the hilt and the club should have appealed against the guilty verdict. The entire pantomime surrounding the incident rightly or wrongly effected the club in a negative way, such was the negativity that Standard Chartered were worried that the events surrounding Evra and Suarez would affect their reputation.

Whilst i agree totally, it seems that the modern fan and club has very little patience, is kenny the right man? Only time will tell and i dont know how much patience the club has.

Yes he is king kenny, yes he is a legend, but if it is t working then something will have to change. Did hodgson get the chance???

But those calling for kenny to go are true dickheads, we are a work in progress this season as far as i am concerned, some players have worked, some havent........ But thats football.

Lets see our progress at the end of next season, lets see what business we do in the summer.
