To me Gerard Houllier's new 'attacking style' seems to have a major flaw, he dosen't play with an anchor man.  In my opionion that cost us the game against charlton.  Also against Portsouth, although i thought he played the right team, i thought he should have varied the shape, with diouf along side heskey, kewell on the left, and gerrard on the right, and smicer in the hole, although this may not be a perment tactict it is good to suprise your oppisiton, also houllier also seems incapable of turning things around when we are losing. Maybe Houllier isn't the great taction some think?

REDTILLDEAD u must be reading my mind, i coulden't agree more.

I see Murphy as are very own Ray Parlour.

If a team is counting on Danny Murphy to be there main creative output then they have problems, thank good we got Kewell.

Thats another thing we agree on REDTILLDEAD.

GH plays the same formation and players from previous wining match and continue the same style until loss again for coming match......he never use the right players and right tactic when face a particular team by analysis their strength and weakness...

That is why once our opponent leading in front with goal, we are hardly to win the match...Berger scored a goal in 4th minutes....we have no alternative to fight back for remaining 86 minutes...

In fairness to Murphy he was one of the few Liverpool players who played consistently well last year.

However, I agree that he's hardly the kind of player who'd win us the Premiership.

In an ideal world he'd be a good substitute or squad player, but Liverpool will be forced to pick him now that there are so many injuries.

I agree that we need to play a proper anchorman.

Diao should be given a chance. A lot of the blame for last season was put on him, which I thought was a bit unfair.

Houllier is getting his tactics wrong more and more lately, its true that he dosn't play with an anchor man anymore, and that has cost us many points,

I thought Diao would be givena run in the team like diouf, because with hamann out he seemed the natural choice, and when ever hs's played he has looked good, against arsenal he was great.

When Houlier went for the liverpool job he was asked about his knowledge of tactics. Sadly the directors were'nt looking when he pulled out his packet of mints and said  "wee wee I ave tictacs"

Please leave Mr Houlier
