i think tactical masterstroke is a little ott  :eyebrow the reason we where struggling in the 1st half was because of the midfield and a change had to be made. he gets more credit from me for making the change at half time rather than it being some stroke of genius because it was fairly obvious what we needed to do.

I wouldn't have anyone else at the moment. his stock value has shot up this season, his overall performance levels as the manager have also improved 100%. He was good at Swansea but he's a different class at Liverpool.

Fair enough and I'm of the same ilk... but the reality is we've been able to say that about near enough every manager (Hodgson apart) since Evans. They've all had good seasons... now is not the time to judge Rodgers. For me, if a manager comes in and isn't a disaster he deserves three years (as a sort of probationary period) Rodgers is only in his second. He needs time and we need to see more of him before we can truly judge. Can he improve this side, can we improve the squad? Can he get us to compete on four fronts?

Time will tell.

Totally deserved the hat-trick. When's the last time someone shared a player of the month award?

Even if he ends up winning the league?

If he wins the league, he would have done that in 2 seasons, something that Houllier and Rafa failed to do in their 6 seasons as LFC managers.

That would be some feat!

Keeping Suarez here was his biggest test and most important moment so far as LFC manager.

Although it was not all Brendan's doing, the owners, Gerrard played their parts, He was able to bring Suarez back into the fold and keep the best player in England happy.

Remember he played hard ball with Suarez by banning him to train alone when his behaviour was unacceptable so it was not through weakness that he made him happy, rather through respect and the strength of his convictions.

His marriage apparently is on the rocks. It has been reported in the papers that he has moved out from his home and is frequently seen visiting the home of divorcee Charlotte Hind. Whatever he does or whoever he shags in his private life is his business but from a fan's perspective I just pray that it's not going to affect the good work he has done so far for Liverpool.

if it comes true he will be remembered as a true great.
Yeah, cause that's how big of an achievement that would be.
