Welcome to Liverpool Brendan

He still has to speak to the Swansea Chairman who could stop the deal.

Not impressed with the news. However, all I'll say on this matter is we will be watching your performance very closely next season. Begin the process; & a formation of new dynasty at LFC. The very best of luck, Brendan.

rodgers shouldnt take any stick if results dont go well next season, rafa benitez, hodgson and dalglish are good experienced managers and they couldnt do anything with this squad so why should rodgers be blamed? it`s not his squad, he never assembled it.
if he does manage to get us in the mix to contest 4th place he would have done a magnificent job.
the time to judge rodgers is when he`s had at least 2 seasons here.

Happy with the appointment  :nod
Any more news on Van Gaal ?

Club might announce both appointments once the Rodgers deal is finalised.

my only justifiable fear is that rogers do not have many years of experience as manager, and zero experience at a "big" club. i will hope for the best, fingers crossed.

We all concern about Brendan's appointment because he doesn't have much experience  to be LFC's gaffer. But anyway, everybody must start somewhere and maybe his destiny is to be our next successful manager.  Who knows? Hope for the best.

Hope I'm wrong but I was more "psyched" about Hodgson joining and that's saying a lot. Not Rodgers fault though since anyone with his record would jump on this chance.
