Garcia can only score. I'd like to see how many times Garcia plays a successful pass, wins a tackle and makes assists next year. If it is more than Keane (spurs) Rooney (utd) Robben (chelsea) or Ljungberg (arsenal) I would be very surprised.

Comparing Garcia and Cisse's footballing ability is ridiculous.
Luis might lose posession alot but he also has so much natural talent and can do things with a football that Cisse could only dream about.
The goals you talk about were in massive games for the club, Cisse score against the sh!te sides and when it came to the big games (united at old trafford) he is awful.
Garcia is a big game player and the goals he has scored prove that.

Because Garcia's goals are match winning goals.

He's scored 24 goals in two seasons and we've only lost one match when he's scored.

Feyenoord have given striker Dirk Kuyt permission to travel to Merseyside to check out Anfield and the Melwood facilities.

Liverpool hope to agree a transfer fee for the player within the next few days.

Usually a fee is agreed before a player is given permission to speak directly to an interested club so judging by Feyenoord's decision it sounds like a deal may not me a million miles away in their eyes.

Chelsea continue to be linked with the player and their chief executive Peter Kenyon will have a chance to meet-up with Kuyt on Tuesday.

Liverpool have important dates with Maccabi Haifa and Chelsea coming up so opportunities to squeeze a visit in for Kuyt and his agent are tight but not impossible.

Although things look to be going ok, we're not 100% convinced as things currently stand that Kuyt is in the bag. We won't be convinced until we see him in a Liverpool shirt.

It should be an interesting week. Expect new names to be linked with us before the club head to Cardiff.
