Maybe he likes the club and Liverpool ? Maybe he thinks the manager may leave? Maybe he likes the money?

I haven't seen the pm so no idea what was said, but its not impossible for  player to dislike a manager but love the club etc.

It seems it was the same pm you got as well . I'm pretty sure the manager would of been involved in the contract talks and yes I'm sure pepe loves the club and city but would he sign a new contract if there was a possibility of a new manager coming in when pepe has stated on many occasions how much he loves working with rafa !

It's all bull mate spread around by the media and people like lakes , ignore it

his PA team have been working with 3 clubs, right now Alberto Zaccheroni looks set to move on at the end of the year from Juventus, Rafas men have meet with the club a few times over the last few weeks.

there is not much in the press about it as Rafa says its not true  as has told any press that he would take action. if he was found to be doing this it would be his contract over at our club, the problem is that our owners dont even know what is going on at the club.

what you are not hearing in the press is that ALL the players are not getting on with him right now and he is very unhappy at the club, he will not say this and most of the players will not talk about how much they dont like him, we risk the big players walking if he stays. all our best players will stay if the club put a new manager in place.

what you need to do is get hold of some ex players or and sports reporter that can take five mins to talk to you, they love to talk about how bad Rafa is at the club and the HATE that some players now have for him.

a reporter on five live tonight almost put his foot in it when talking about Rafa not talking to players, he said he know this as one of them had told him, he then shut up.

....................................................................

ok so why would pepe agree a new contract.....................maby he knews Rafa is going.

And saint I'm alluding to the point that I don't think many players would sign a new contract if they thought the manager was going - they would wait and see what happens - especially when they have a fair amount of years left on existing one

Lakes pepe on many occasions has come out and shown support for rafa and credited the manager with helping him make him the player he is .

bit of a hard one mate but i would say he was, lets face it he is friends with Alonso and was very unhappy to see him leave.

there are a few things that can make a player leave this club and one big thing is that if they also know there is no money coming in and no new players then they might look to move on, they need to be in the CL every year and winning things....big things.

if we got a big name manager now then yes i think he will stay.

dont forget that Rafa will not have the same power in his next jon....why would he after buy loads of players here and spending all that money, they will keep an eye on the money he spends.

Lakes stop spreading utter nonsense . You have no idea if Torres likes or dislikes the manager - in fact you have no idea what any of the players think , your just spreading nonsense like the media do . Prove us wrong by coming up with something concrete as opposed to utter tripe .
