Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I was thinking at the end of the season - I don't think he will go before. There have been bigger "lows" this season and he has survived.
I agree with you - a different manger with different tactics, different man management and a more positive mindset could achieve more with this group of players.

But im sure most people should be able to see how much we improved once the sub was made

Not refering to you specifically...when i made that comment....but whatever.

As for playing better.....don't we play finish most games the better team (especially when we up the tempo). Thats what happened.

If torres had stayed (and i am not saying 100% he would have scored but compared to ngog ....surely) he would have better composure to knock in at least one of those chances.

I mean how many frecking times has  has Torres done :censored: all, only to pop up with the winner (aston villa away this season....chelsea away last season... just to name a few).

If Rooney had done :censored: all, do you think Ferguson would take him off if United were chasing a winner? How many times did Ronaldo do :censored: all last season only to pop up with the winner for United. Heck...how many times have owen & fowler had a quiet game before they popped with the winner during houllier's time ?

Torres has been on fire for weeks now. He is our biggest match winner. You don't take him off no matter how :censored: he is playing cause you know that it only takes one moment for him to turn a game.

Why ? Because his strikers and players missed glorious chances to win a game against a team which is unbeaten at home since september or becuase johnson's poor marking ?

No, becouse he puts strikers and players in a must win game with a 1 - 1 score that arent capable of NOT missing chances.

I think they should have some kind of English literacy test when signing up here.

Is it me or is LFCTV determined to stifle any debate about the manager's future? The phone in just now after the game was laughable.

Way I see it is that Benitez gave us an assurance we would finish 4th so I assume he going to be a good as his word and forefit his £20m payoff by way of compensation under the terms of his 110% guarantee  :glare:

Torres IS NOT INJURED. Rafa has just said so in his post match interview  :no

And lets hope the "real fan" who keeps on yapping about icepacks and torres's knees reads this too.

Just going by reports

You dont take off a clinical finisher... EVER.

Michael Owen... 2001 FA Cup final.... didn't touch the ball for 83 minutes, as anonymous a performance you will ever see... two kicks in the next 5 minutes he won the trophy by himself.

Rafa as an odd, bizarre individual, baffles people routinely (Istanbul starting kewell instead of Hamann allowing kaka free reign to run riot was the mother of all f'uck ups).. but if Torres was fit, hes literally lost it. The look on Gerrards face was telling.

reading on other forums that Rafa might have taken a lot of stick from VIP liverpool fans inside the ground after the game, " When are you going"  "you dont know what you are doing"   "just go"   "when will your new job start Rafa"  "we think the owners are bad but we overlooked you"

ok things like this should be saved for or own ground lads
