The hard part in all this for me is weve had 3 months of being shi.te . yes blame the manager but also blame the players , but for me them 3 months of playing sh.ite has been overlooked because of whats gone on in the 5 years. And that is why i still back Rafa, i am not judging him on the last 3 months im judging him on the last 5 years, he has not become a bad manager in three months .

I am strongly still behind the boss , if people think im soft then thats there problem,

And even an when he does go , the man will always have my respect , Because he gave us ours back,

The pre season tour was a shambles and we've continued from there.

I am not going to be sarcastic or disrespectful
I asked how long because we are sliding down the table rapidly.
We are currently 8th and eight points away from fourth. Fulham are one point behind us
Maybe I should ask whats the lowest people will accept us dropping to before he goes?

The main thing for me, the one thing that is killing me (and many supporters on here) is the league. When United equalled our haul, I really expected us to make a proper fight of things. After last season, it wasnt beyond any of our expectations. Looking at how the league has gone this year, if we continued from last season, we would be sitting pretty at the top of the league. I cant help but feel Rafa doesnt have our hopes as close to his heart. A couple of games this season he has made changes to the team in order to help save our champions league campaign. That didnt help. From those changes we are now out of both competitions. We need a manager that understands the club, that understands the supporters. That puts our bread and butter first then the rest. We need to get back in the running. Rafa has proved we can do so. Last season, we fell just short. We won nothing but we finished second. Thats ok, thats fine. We were there or there abouts. This season, the players have lost total faith. Tactics, attitude, whatever. The simple fact is this, the players have lost faith in rafa. Thats a big shame, no doubt about it. But you cant help but feel that when rafa signed his new 5 year contract, it put the players in their place. Rafa is here to stay, you will be messed about, and you will be tinkered with. The wages these lads earn should warrant a perfomance, but you also have to look at the players point of view. How can you perform to your best knowing that even if you do, you will be dropped for the next game. And under rafa this has happened more often than not.

On what evidence?

Playing 2 left backs in left MF for the last 2 games when we have MF players available is only a couple of examples of why he wont turn things around
Not only was his line up  at Pompey strange to say the least, His substitutions when we were desperate for a result were pathetic.

His 2&2 makes 5 more often than not these days, hes a law unto himself and its not working, his style has run out of steam, its time to wish him well and move him on for the sake of the club.
