I don't blame the yanks half as much as others seem to do. They don't kick a ball on the bleedin' pitch, do they ? The same squad (almost) as last season, and we're going backwards...
And a manager who can't see the wood from the trees...
What I'd love most of all is to get a few of the player and the manager, in front of the camera, ask them hard questions, ask them if they have any pride at all in the shirt, ask them if they're ashamed of themselves, and see what they answer with...
I would love to be the one asking the questions....

Jesus wept...

The reason he was not on the bench was because he picked up a knock against Wigan, do some people not follow what goes on with our club or what?

or Ian St. John is right and mow he is fit Rafa looked at him and he is not as good as he thoght he was.

Or then again, perhaps it was because he picked up a knock against Wigan ?

Phuck's sake, mate, give it a rest...

Lakes he had a calf strain , i posted it up yesterday in the match thread, bUT MAYBE YOU NEVER SEEN THE wIGAN GAME , an the tackle he took,

im as angry as everyone else believe you me, ive got better things to do with 80 quid before Christmas  , But what im not doing is hanging on every word to what Sky an the phoneins or any of our ex players our saying, Thats what it seems a lot of our fans are doing,

hey i am just saying what Ian St. John said.

After the news of Hughs' sacking and his replacement by the average joe Mancini, I am frankly back to my senses. We should persist with the manager and his team to weather thru the storm...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Mark Hughes is sacked and Rafa Benitez is still in a job. It's just not right.

I've already written at length about my feelings about Benitez, but if he had a replacement for Alonso fit and ready at the beginning of the season and had bought atleast one decent forward in the summer, the season may have turned out better.

I'm so glad i travelled the length of the country today.
At the least i got to see the Mary Rose, so the day wasn't a total wash out.

This has been on the cards for a long time. Some of us seen this coming but have been shushed, ridiculed or accused of betrayal and not being real supporters.
Rafa is his own worst enemy. His stubbornness is legendary as is his attention to detail. These are his biggest weaknesses that should be his strengths. All managers have these characteristics but also encourage initiative and artestry, trusting players to have confidence in their skills and use their imagination. Rafa does not like flamboyance or individuality. He does not do flair or trust imagination. He is a control freak who is more akin to a robot than a father figure. He has a sense of humour and irony but there is no fun or enjoyment in his football. Has anyone ever seen him celebrate a goal ? I mean jump up punch the air kiss a bizzie celebration because his team have just scored? Some may say that he is reserved and has every right not to make a tw@t of himself. But what message is he sending the fans by staying blank faced or looking at his watch while we and the players are screaming like little girls. I believe this shows the coldness and lack of social skill and engagement that he has with the players is now isolating him even more. At a time when he should be counting on them to pull together they are falling apart.
He needs to get a wartime mentality going because the battle for survival has already begun
