i'n not sure Scotty Parker is what we need/needed Sange, decent player but he's another very defensive player, combative and hardworking like the 2 lads who have manning our engine room all season. I would have taken Jimmy Bullard or Danny Murphy to fill Alonso's spot until Aquaman was fit to go.

Scott sir It was meant as a joke mate , some horrible person on here started a terrible rumour that Rafa was going for Parker in the Summer, Even made the papers an the bookies  That person needs shooting to be honest ,  :shifty

most prob sees yeh next month at the Portsmouth game :;):

That was some story that tho Nan when I watched us against west ham the commentator on the match said when Scott Parker got the ball "Rumours in the summer said Liverpool have shown interest in Parker" I was thinking yep I know where they have come from

As for Keane do you really believe Rafa didn't want him?
Rafas nose was put out because the board were willing to pay the extra for him and not Barry, so as usual if Rafa doesn't get the last word he holds a grudge
He treated Keane badly.

Babel has looked a busted flush for a while now and in my opinion Bellamy gives more in one game than he does in half a dozen

Dossena, didnte we have Aurelio and Insua in the wings at LB?
Deggan not even good enough as cover

Aqualani was an extravagance that we couldnte afford, we needed to hit the ground running, not play a makeshift side until the seasons main signings comes in well into the season
It just dosnte make sense

And second is second!

If you look back over the topics from just before the season started, I started one saying drop gerrard back and buy another striker with Alonso money, not that we got to spend it, but with Gerrard/Torres combing so well last season I thought Rafa wanted them to keep it going and hopefully there bad luck injury wise would be over.

You kind of contradict yourself over the Keane scenario because your asking me do I really think Rafa didn't want him (as If to apply he did) but then at the the bottom of the paragraph just cos he had to buy Keane and not Barry he hold a grudge "applying he didn't want him"

As for treating him badly, Keane never done himself any favours he didn't have the right attitude, never scored enough goals and winged if he was subbed.

Also Aqualani was probably the best value midfielder we could get for that money ok it hasn't paid off yet but would you really want another average midfielder straight away or wait for something more prosperitus. What difference would a Scott Parker lol make when we have average midfeilders (Lucas) already here.Rafa couldn't of really done any better.

I didn't contradict myself
Rafa wanted them both initially, but as Parry did the negotiations they and not Rafa set the prices they were willing to pay, and to Rafas annoyance Alonso never got moved on so the board probably saw the forward as the priority buy.
If you think that Rafa tried to get the best out of Keane I have to disagree, don't you remember him dropping him like a stone when he scored 3 in 2 games!
Looked more like he didn't want him to succeed.
Once Rafa's dummy comes out he wont rest until he gets the last word
We all have opinions and I respect yours, but all those who think Rafa is the bees knees have no right to call others who dont
I dont say your not a real supporter because of your views.

I certainly don't think Benitez is the bees knees.I just want yous to wake up to the fact that problems are far much deeper than the manager of the team sorry if I used the term "real supporters"

Latest odds for our next manager :-

"The special one"   2/1
King Kenny           3/1
Roberto Mancini     5/1
Oswaldo De Oliveira 9/1 (who the feck is he ? )
Guus Hiddink        12/1

I think 3 out of the 5 would do ..... just never heard of Oliveira, and I am not too sure about Mancini.

Do you know who Oswaldo De Oliveira  is ?

I think Hiddink is a good manager mate. Half a season over here and won the FA CUP, revitalised Chelsea and got them back to within 3 points of us. Took over in February when Chelsea were fourth, and even with our great run to the end of the season still managed to get more points than we did. Won 11 out of thirteen league games finishing 3rd.

Before Hiddink
4 Chelsea 25  14 7 4 44 15 49

After Hiddink
3 Chelsea 38  25 8 5 68 24 83

Nah, they are just reducing the odds because we could go out of the CL tomorrow Ciggy, then if we lose to Everton things could really get serious.

I got the odds of newsnow.

I think he will stay to the end of the season, then it will depend on whether we qualify for the cl and get any money for transfers as to whether he walks, stays or gets pushed.

I think if we go out of the CL and dont beat Everton Rafas head will be on the chopping block, I dont think he will survive for the rest of the season tbh.
