Sack Him - All Venting In Here Please

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby The Real Deal » Thu Nov 05, 2009 12:50 am

I ask all of you......why keep him?? This whole thing reminds me when fans were getting sick of Houllier after 3 seasons. this is benitez's 6th season.
:censored: basically

if anything we are a weekend side from when he took over!

how far have we come in 6 seasons??

take stevie and torres out, we are a poor side.

whole season could be over if fiorentina win v lyon now, as we are out of league then and CL.

forget all of this "BELIeVE IN RAFA VOODOO BULLSH*t!!!!!!*. stop living in dreamland. stop defending the loser. he is far too defensive. did lucas even touch the ball tonight? ??? mascha and lucas midfield...torres all alone up front!?? wheres the chances coming from? doesnt take stevie wonder to work it out!!!!!! :censored: SYSTEM..............

Shanks is turning in his grave!!!!!!!
lfc A SUPERIOR FORCE?"
shall we believe that rafa has this pshycic power to make a mediocre side win the league over quality sides? ??????

we have ONE quality striker, torres thats it. not good enough.

and why does rafa think lucas is a quality player?? why is he still in the squad when some good quality has been released well before??? the man is insane. Sissoko was a quality player, he went as he wasnt gonna get a game.

By the time we get aquilani or wotever  actually match fit, the season will be OVER FFS..by then! 20m wasted or wot???

i honestly dont think he knows what he is doing.

i dont balme rafa for transfer funds from LFC board + market trends currently etc. but he has to pay dearly for his own crucial mistakes surely!!! + for the players he has let go cheaply, surely.ie: fowler, bellamy, keane, sissoko, garcia, crouch. and then playing kack tonight like lucas and voronin instead of babel.

stop defending the man.  he is accountable.

The amount of negative Rafa topics on here now show a lot of Lfc fans' patience is running out.

I even saw ex Lfc Ronnie Whelan on Lfc tv, saying that Rafa should go soon, if this season is poor.!!!!!!
and rememeber....we have no carling cup to fall back on....as we are OUT!!!!!!!!!!! FFS!!!!!!!!!

he's making us as laughing stock.

Boo hoo.

I was too busy being euphoric after such a goal. Haven't jumped off my seat like that in ages. It felt good. When he was taking the free kick, however, I knew what he was going to do and ended up holding my head in my hand. The trouble with Babel really did dawn on me tonight (I know I'm slow) is that the lad has no football brain at all at times. Maybe if someone could transplant him one, he'd be the player he could be.

As a lifelong red, i've come to try and live by something that was said to me about the club when i was young;
'we're liverpool, we conduct ourselves with class and dignity, we're modest in victory and we always give our players and managers our full support'
when times are bad, as they have been recently, this always comes to mind.I thought of it at the final whistle tonight again. As one of the few liverpool supporters i know, i've been asked about rafa, lucas, voronin etc since the season has started and my reply has never changed 'they're liverpool and as long as they're at my club i'll give them my support'. It isnt my call on rafa benitez's job so as long as he's the manager, he's the right man for the job. We've been in bigger holes than this and got ourselves back on track, i reckon this is a turning point for this team. As al pacino said
'We are in hell right now, gentlemen believe me and We can stay here and get the :censored: kicked out of us or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb out of hell. One inch, at a time.'
I think that we can appreciate that at this moment in time. The man brought us to the summit of europe in his first season and it disappoints me to see so many people on his back when things go a bit sour.

We're down but not out, so lets show a bit of class, get behind our manager and show why we're the best in the world.

Yeah, how we could have used the skill of Diao in the middle, and the distracting spitting antics of his mate and translator Diouf up front; Biscan bossing the middle, putting in crunching tackles, and the deadly pace of Toare boming down the flanks from LB.

The truth is that some people think the team is good enough and has been for some time to have won the league. Leaving the reason that we havent down to mistakes by the manager.

Some people think the team is not good enough and that Rafa has done well getting the team to perform as well as it has

Some people think its all Parry's  fault

Some people think its the two clowns fault

Some people think its a combination of any number of the above.

Some obviously think that Rafa is wonderful and it is not his fault..... thats great, but not everyone has to agree with you, just as I don't expect everyone to agree with me.

Personally I think Rafa makes too many mistakes. I don't need you to agree with me, I would just like it if everyone would accept that different people have different opinions and see things differently. I do believe we all want Liverpool to win and be successful, we just differ on how best to achieve that aim.

We actually played ok tonight except for one player, voronin, can someone explain to me why he wasn't subbed earlier by our genius manager and also please explain the point of taking Nando off with 5 mins left.

I'm an agnostic about Benetiz but I don't understand critcism with no explaination.  It like looking at the life and saying thats S**t.  I don't get that, why bother.

Ok you are right that we should not let recent bad results cloud our judgment about Rafa but on the back of last seasons results how can fans not be rioting in the streets howling for blood?? how can the club fall out of every competition before the season gets into gear?

Maybe the result last season was the highpoint for Rafa and now it is the slow decline into another period of struggling for a top 4 finish until we get a lucky break where all the questionable signings somehow manage to perform well all at the same time.
